Did you know Matt Groening was from Oregon.
Many characters in the Simpsons are named after streets/areas in Portland.
There is a Springfield in Oregon.
Hence, the Simpsons is in Oregon.

Glad you're a Simpsons fan, too... Yeah, Groening went from Portland to a small, new liberal arts college near Olympia in WA before ending up in LA after college. Had two sisters named Lisa and Maggie. I've always loved his ability to create humor for kids while having a layer of satire/political-social commentary for adults. I started watching it decades ago because my then young kids loved it... Being a writer on that show must be a blast!

But, back to this thread... Hope there are more episodes in the 'Spank Me Daddy' series!!!
