You're definitely an intellectual. Sometimes I can get into serious topics like that but admittedly, I'm the type that likes the action packed movies, unrealistic super heroes, scifi. Simpleton stuff (not meant as an insult, just taking movies at face value). Movies that are too deep, too emotional, too realistic tend to distract me as I get caught up chasing rabbit holes of strange scenarios.

Hey, I enjoyed The Avengers or some blockbuster no brain stuff.
But yes, most of those are "schlock" and not forcing you to think like say "Inception"...which are the types of films I tend to prefer admittedly

I need to be in a reflective type mood to adequately appreciate movies that require thinking. I'm not sure I've watched too many movies that would fit that bill that I can think of unfortunately. I guess when I'm looking for reality, I turn on some documentary type show. Not quite the same though.

Yeah I heard he does a good job. I tried listening to the DCC podcsast but the guys kind of...arent good.

Didn't know there was a podcast, but yeah 100% recommend the audio. This randomly popped into my head but I'm pretty sure she would be horrified by your piercings but may approve because its cat related

They havent hit well since June.
They have the starting pitching and I trust Snell more than an exhausted Ohtani, and then Yamamoto on Friday...but they are just swinging at everything and praying it sails out of there. Leaving men on base all over the freaking place.
Mookie cant buy a hit. Mookie Betts.
Kike' is back to regular season Kike' not playoff Kike'.
Tommy Tanks hasnt done much, he isnt disciplined.
Muncy usually doenst strike out. He walks or flies out or homers. And he went down hard.
Pages shouldnt even be in the lineup, no idea what Roberts is doing with him. Call, Kim, Dean should be playing. Hell, I wish we had Conforto back on the roster even...and he was ass most of the season. You cant keep saying well, he has 27 homers this year game after game...he hasnt done anything and is basically a free out. At least the other players MIGHT do something.

The Jays pitchers arent overwhelming the Dodgers. They arent. The Dodgers forgot what worked last year: you gotta put it in play. All these pop-ups in game 3 were just failed homers by Freddie, Mookie and Will and Teo and the rest.
They've relied on slugging especially from Shohei in games 2 and 3. They have made some poor running decisions too.
This is Yankees shit.

The funny thing is...I worried about the Dodgers bullpen. Everyone did. And the BP saved their ass in game 3. Its the lineup that isnt executing....well and Treinen. Once again Roberts trots him out and once he again he blows the game.
I mean, going down 3-1 in the late middle innings wasnt ideal, but ok, its a fucking game and theres plenty of time. And Treinen goes out and basically game over. I turned it off when it was 6-1.
I mean he caused that game to go 18 the night before too!
Anyway, I didnt see the final two innings, just checked my phone.
But I also knew Roberts punted the game. Once he went out, we were punting the game and saving the BP for games 5 and 6 with Sheehan, (we miss Vesia bigtime), Sasaki etc.

As a fan; as an invested fan, a fan that knows more about the team and where they are struggling it has to be so frustrating and a let down. They are not playing to their potential and like you said they’re not doing the little things. Get men on base get a hit and move them over. The long ball will come.

I’m pulling for you! (a couple of the games they remind me of the Cubs just laying an egg when it matters)
