Sorry, this is totally random. But I was just watching TV and I'm curious -- did that Lil Bow Wow guy take the "Lil" off of his name? Did I miss this? Carson Daly's confusing me

Yeah he's just Bow Wow now..he was on Jay Leno maybe 3 weeks ago or so, and he said it's just bow wow from now on because he's "older"..LoL He's like 15 or 16 now..LoL

He has a good delivery, charisma, a quality camp (JD, Brat, and JE). He's gonna have to make the move to writing his own lyrics someday, develop some messages, and increase his average album length to 65min. Droppin' the LIL is important-he can really start gettin' in the serious business at 17 and 18. Lil' Wayne(cash money) could keep the nick and swear like an mofo at 17 because he never pretended to be gearing toward preteens. Murph Lee(st lunatics) is about 17 and he is legit with adults because he is free to say what he wants. Bow Wow has to tread carefully to sustain a long career, no surprise he is pursuing acting. First it pays better and no guarantee that he can make it in music after the novelty of youth wears off.
