Like the mile high club, only more realistic!

I was going to write a story about love on an airplane, but that is so cliche, and the small bathrooms do not sound like they have enough room to really have fun in.

So I did the next best thing:
I wrote a story about making love on a train.

Inspired by watching Risky Business with my wife. You've got to see THAT train scene if you want to get really HOT!
Better than anything I can come up with!

I've thought about it, plenty of opportunity on early morning trains. You can call it the five mile (ten mile?) long club.

I had my first making love on a train experience two months ago. My fiancee booked us a first class cabin on a Coastal scenic train for our anniversary which also was our way of moving from California to Seattle.

Sex on a train is fantastic. We were going through Klamath Falls and it was covered in ice, going though tunnels and the cabin getting dark suddenly, then bursts of light. I think everyone heard us though ;-)

The next morning on the train, he proposed to me.
I said yes.

I liked your story! I have no witty commentary, I just liked it.

The only things I can point out for detail are two very minor things:
- On trains, the sleeping cars are upstairs while the coach class is downstairs. On our trip, we never even saw the coach seating.

- Passenger trains rarely go anywhere alongside freeways or where cars might be, so the couple in the nice Lexus wouldn't have been there.

I have been awake all night so I am being nitpicky.

It is a good story.

Ahhhh train sex. I have been lucky enough to divulge in this several times, although all abroad, so the trains are much different.

In fact, I am currenty working on a story in which the two primary characters are indulging in some train sex on a train heading into Berlin...a been there, done that story.

That's basically true for the north/south lines along the west coast, and possibly true for much of the east coast as well.

I do know that there are some very long stretches of interstate 80 that have the main east/west tracks within 100 yards of the freeway right-of-way. I've raced Amtrak trains along that freeway both times I've driven it.

Oregon Highway 58 isn't a freeway, and it's too crooked a road to be watching rail passengers, but the tracks there are less than thirty yards from the highway.

Being watched by a couple in a Lexus while on a train is not unrealistic at all.

Whatever happened to using our imaginations when reading a story? WHY not pretend the train has windows on both sides. The ones in Europe do.
