Lifetime

The Memory Keeper's Daughter? :)

Yes....it was very bittersweet, but I didn't cry until the very end.

Now, I'm excited to see Love Sick. I bought the book a few years back at the Printers Row Book Fair in Chicago because it looked interesting. It turned out to be an unofficial copy that wasn't supposed to be circulated. It was a temp copy, pre-editing, pre-copyright, etc. It's one of my favorite books...and I was shocked and excited to see that it's going to be a movie!!!!

Sick puppy. :p

That's what Oxygen and WE are for. :D

The only movie I'll stop on every time (on those networks) is the docudrama about the Illinois couple whose kids developed an allergy to light. Amazingly sad story that has a beautiful ending. Gets me to sobbin' every time.

......Just found it, it's called Children Of The Dark, starring Peter Horton & Tracy Pollan. If you like tear jerkers, it's a must-see.

Have you read Memory Keeper's? It was a really good book. I just recently re-read it, and my best friend called and said, 'hey, that book you've been talking about is going to be a movie.' Yay!
The movie wasn't as good as the book- they left a lot out. Of course, it was a pretty deep story and they had to squeeze it into 2 hours including commercials. The whole time I'd say, 'that's not how that happened.' So my mom made me explain it to her, lol.
All in all it was okay, but I still like the book better. :)

I'd watch that. It definitely sounds interesting. I have to admit...while Lifetime still shows some of the crappy, cliche movies, they have improved their more recent show/movie listings.

I've heard of the book, but not read it. Honestly, it's probably not something I'd read. I liked the movie and knew it was a book, and figured they'd probably changed things around or eliminated parts of the story. All in all, I liked it for what it was. :)

I definitely liked the ending. :rose:
