The rains have finally ended, two month's worth. The cold winter has continued as a cool spring, I see rabbits playing in the yard, the hammocks are out, we even napped yesterday, and I grilled T-bones for supper. The yard (grounds, gardens, whatever) are awash in color, changing from the yellows and purples of early spring to the whites of wild roses and hawthorn to the deep reds and other variations of roses and clematis. Day lilies and tiger lilies are budding preparing to bloom and the hostas are bigger than ever before showing the promise of summer blooms to come.
Today, I have to choose, grill burritos or pork butts. I'll dwell on that pressing issue as we do our schoolwork out on the deck and listen to running water and the songbirds who congregate at our feeders...
A_J, livin' large! It's good to be me.
PS - Go gay Elvis!
