But not you.
Or you.
Or possibly you. Ew.

Everyone else is fine. :cathappy:

So, what kills pink? I mean, besides Abs.
I've been asked this very prickly question, given my *cough* artistic sensibilities and all my brain responds with is, "It's a small world after all..."

Well, that's not true. It's hooked on that stupid color wheel. With the blocks of banal color.
I'm only calling it stupid right now, by the way, because it's not finessing for me, the bastard.

Green makes it look like a flower garden.
Red makes it look like the inside of Liz Taylor's head.
White makes it pinker.
Black makes it look like a bordello.
Blue makes it look like a gym that's stuck in the eighties. Spandex all over the damn place.

I'm missing shades and hues and lights and darks. And an answer, of course.
Give it to me good. The pink solution, I mean. Please?

Life is short, Post in a thread

Of Bluey's.
And others.
But not theirs.

The solution to pink is to not pink.
Unless conditions are special.

But not you.
Or you.
Or possibly you. Ew.

Everyone else is fine. :cathappy:

Hey! Since when are you the thread Nazi?

As for the pink, I don't know. It depends on the shade of pink and where it's situated? Can you go OVER it in white? Because you can get pink light enough that people don't think it's pink at all but a shade of white. Hmmm.

The 'cure' for PINK is one word: Kilz.

The primer that covers everything!

khaki kills pink, unless it's magenta, of course. That motherfucker just won't ever die.

Spidey's packin' some serious wood.

His tights never showed that!

Damn straight. (Hehehe) I saw somethin' like that once at a 'Bride of the Burro' carnival side show.

Maybe his retracts like a real spiders.;)

I like pink too, I mean depending on the shade and what you're using it for.

I like to wear pink. I think I look good in it. That's what people tell me, anyway. Pale pink or slightly peachy pink. Not peach and not fuschia.

I don't particularly care for pink rooms or buildings or cars. And pink medicine? Bleh. Some pink foods are ok, like strawberry ice cream. That may actually be the only one though.

I love pink roses, especially with daisies.

Why do you want to kill it, Bluey?

Sorry, I posted and ran. I had a pressing social engagement with Doctor Who (a yummy yummy fellow who can kiss me any time he'd like). But I'm back now and shall tell all of you very nice souls one or two things. Not bad things, don't worry.

I was asked to dream up a way to kill the pink. The question was waiting on my answering machine when I came home today.
Killing the pink was not my idea. I used to have a grudge against it, very much in the style of our illustrious Absadelic barmistress, but I've come to appreciate it over time. Mostly as an accent color. And probably not as an article of clothing (it doesn't flatter me as it does TK).

The cutting of the pink is to be done in my grandmother's bathroom. Poor pink. It is sixties era little girl pink, by the way. Which means it can never really be killed.
But it can be muted. And if anyone can mute it, it's my uncle.
The muting shall commence forthwith.

Starrkers, you get the prize. I started off with Cloudy's very excellent idea of khaki but I could tell he wasn't buying it so I veered off course with yellow (an awful idea) and suddenly remembered Starrkers suggesting grey. The grey elicited some rather promising "Hmmm's" (apparently it would match the new tile beautifully) so I think that will be the way of the brush.

Just an aside, my grandmother used to have one of those squishy toilet seats. You know, the kind that clings to your bottom and makes this crazy squelping noise when you sit down on it and this idiotic thwapppp-ing noise when you got up again and it disengaged from your skin. That's one of the only things I remember about going to her house. It's probably not there anymore.
That toilet seat scared me. Perhaps it's responsible for many of my current restroom phobias.

I'm not a big fan of Pink, but she's a good enough singer that I don't think she deserves to be murdered...

I'm not! I'm merely...selective.
And most certainly taking the piss.

Charley? Is that you?

You weren't supposed to know about that. I'm part of the Alt-Protection Program!

Certainly not. Shirley Bassey would never have had a chance to cover Get The Party Started. And that would be a crime. Of the worst sort.

stick around

Worth it's weight in words... like GC's lawn rising like Preachers at a dying millionaires bedside.

Sigh. What a let down. It's early yet. I first read your question as "What kills pain?" I was looking forward to the philosophical discussion to follow.

Maybe the answers are the same?

I don't think grey works on pain... chocolate might.
