The name of the store was not her idea, but when you had a partner one had to accomodate. That was okay as the place was doing well, it was in a great location. She thought of it as the dumping grounds as it seemed most people through the door had been stood up, or broken up. She was no cupid but occasionally she nudged people with similiar tastes in sweets together.

Too bad she wasn't so lucky herself, she had dated, but when you had triple d breasts it was tough to attract a certain quality of man. At least owning a sweets store had not expanded her waist line, probably because she rarely cooked anything sweet at home anymore.

It was a slow afternoon and she was at the counter, glancing at what was left and mentally taking note of what to make less of, and what to make more of.

He enters Licks.

The smell of the shop reminded me of my childhood, taking in another deep breath of the sweet smells I surveyed the shop. There was a certain charm to the shop, with its large glass containers full of candy on rows of shelves.
Slowly walking around the store I became aware of the shop assistant. Not making it obvious I observed her as I travelled around the shop slowly making my way to the counter until I was in front of her.

Standing in front of the counter I waited for her to lock eyes onto my blue/grey eyes. I savoured the delight in front of me.

"Found something you like?" he had this hungry look about him as she met his eyes. It was almost predatory and she was glad it was directed at something sweet, as it was making her warm even considering that the gaze was intended for herself. "Something for your children perhaps?" it was a great line and easily opened up conversation about having or not, and reminiscing about their own childhood.

"Something for your children perhaps?"
A smile passed my lips. Fishing for information already.
"Just for myself, anything on offer?" flashing my winning grin.

Looking up I notice a sign, stating the names of the owners. Wondering who was the other owner is and where they were. There were no other noises above or at the back of the shop. Curious.
