The sad thing is that if more Americans don't get off their butts and start prioritizing voting then they will succeed. They will throw out the baby with the bathwater.

I don't celebrate this. This is showing just how much division there is in America - an entire political contingent believes that effective governance = owning the libs. They hate so many of their fellow citizens that they will willingly cause harm to themselves if they believe they are hurting those they hate.

This is... disappointing and tragic. And far from the America I was raised to know.

I have one minor quibble here: I don't think the deplorables "believe effective governance = owning the libs", they just hate government and don't want it to work well in the first place.
