If suspect is white blame all white people, white "racism," white "supremacy," and white activists. Demand more censorship of free speech, more monitoring and repression of lawful political views of whites and all conservatives. Stir up political agitation and hatred of whites among non-whites.

If suspect is non-white and uses a gun, blame the gun(s), gun rights supporters, the 2nd Amendment, all law-abiding gun owners, and Republicans. Demand further restrictions on 2nd Amendment rights. Stir up political agitation and hatred of law abiding gun owners and all Republicans among low intelligence suburban mommy types and spinster cat ladies.

If suspect is non-white and uses some weapon other than a gun such as a motor vehicle, knife, explosives, poison, etc, move on to the next news story asap.
