Liberal doesn't mean anti-American

Provincetown is the most liberal place I have ever encountered. Diversity could well be defined here and I'd bet my ass there aren't more than a handfull of conservatives, in the whole town. Hell, the pastor at the "Catholic" Church is a lesbian, and while the Vatican may not recognise it, the town does.

But driving by the Bas Relief monument, which commemorates the signing of the Mayflower Compact (for anyone who doesn't know, the Pilgrims didn't actually land in Plymouth, but in P-town) and this is what I saw.

I don't know why I felt like sharing it, but I did.

It is offensive to see conservatives wrapping themselves in the flag and calling others anti-American. It is equally absurd for liberals to wrap themselves in the Bill of Rights and say they are the only defenders of the Constitution.

As an independent, I say both sides are equally full of shit, with regard to those claims.
