Level 5 is the highest degree of autonomous, driverless cars: besides no driver, L5 doesn't require steering wheels, pedals, or mirrors, either. Every driverless car maker today is working at Level 2, maybe except for Audi who "says its new A8 sedan is Level 3 autonomous — but we have to take the company’s word for it because present regulations won’t allow the German automaker to turn it on."

Nvidia claims its new Drive PX Pegasus computing platform is as powerful as “a 100-server data center in the form-factor size of a license plate."

For comparison, here's a shot of what a current Level 2 Ford Fusion's driverless brains looks like:

That's going to need its own A/C system to avoid melting the car!!

i was actually thinking the same thing, how hot can this thing get? After getting around the States in my life, originally being from the Midwest and back again, I was stunned to learn things like. In places like AZ they put your battery in the trunk because it gets too damn hot. Was kinda taken back to learn that at the dealership..
Also, somebody must go on test drives with you, otherwise, cars will end up in Mexico, and said passenger asks if you'll let me out if your hell bent on going to Mexico ....
