I read a story a while back about a hotel heiress that returns to NYC for her sister's wedding. When she first arrives, she meets a woman in a bar and takes her back to her hotel room. She is obsessed with this woman who leaves her in the middle of the night. The heiress is an art dealer back in California, I think. She discovers the next day, at her sister's dinner party, that the woman she met is actually her brother's fiancé. Her brother is a complete asshole, he two women fall in love, but the other woman can't break it off with the brother for other reasons. The last chapter that was available at that time had the heiress returning to her art studio in California, but it was left open ended. I would like to find this story again, but I do not remember the author or the title. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
