What is your favortie part of that great city?

I like the Mission Dolores and the conservatory at Golden Gate Park a lot.

I really love that city and hope I can go back soon. Anyone else enchanted with the city by the bay?

Oh, hey then, I might join you in posting some pics then.

I love googlepics.

The ONLY time I was in California was Camp Pendelton (sp?), like it matters in California, so I have NO positive thoughts on the State other than it was not tougher than growing up in KANSAS...

i want to go. i recently applied for a couple of jobs there. it was on-line--i have no idea if people take those things seriously.

I spent a little over a week in San Fran my senior year of high school

I should dig out my pictures..

I actually thought about moving there about 10 years ago..

I love that city!

I once heard someone say that the only two North American cities that belong in Europe are Montreal and San Francisco

And that is my contribution to the discussion on the city full of losers.

I went there once, when I was like 12.. we drove through it at night, and all I remember was this homeless man with his penis sticking out of his pants, in the middle of the street. My moms hand never shot up to my face so fast in my whole life.

:D

I was just there a few weeks ago.
I like feeding the ducks in golden gate park:)

I lived there twice, once in the city when I was 6, for about six months, and in Marin County (just north of the city) as a teenager.

I loved it, I loved walking along the goofy shops on the wharf, taking a bus across the golden gate bridge, sitting in a cafe in Sausalito, I even liked walking around Alcatraz. I can still remember people watching in the Park. A's games in Oakland, driving down to Carmel, and Monterey Bay has an awesome aquarium with a marine petting zoo.

Man, I miss that place. I'd do just about anything to go back.

Lombard Street....

Or was that in LA?

I can't remember, it was about 5 years ago....

I've slept since then.

I love the victorian houses.
My favorite spot is Steiner street.

The Cannery next to Fisherman's Wharf is nice.

Favorite view...

The NW hills across the Golden Gate bridge overlooking the bridge, Alcatraz, and the general city (looking SE). This girl and I went up above the old coastal fort, and both of us got over our divorces by fucking our brains out up there in the sunshine! We stayed up there until after sundown, what an incredible view (her and the surroundings)! Everytime I see a show or commercial with that view, I get flashbacks of her, and that day! :D
