well, unfortunately i am not the person you are looking for (first of all, i don't meet your age requirements) but just thought i post in the thread to wish you good luck, and to suggest, taht one of the places you could place ads in if this doesn't work out here, would be the magazine "zitty"...

You: smart (well-read and geeky are turn ons), confident, sexually playful, good sense of humor, at least 30 years old but preferably less than 45, NON-SMOKING, have time and interest in regular dates, and comfortable with the English language (even if you're not fluent).

Yeah, shame, I think I would meet all your requirements, but unfortunately Berlin isn't exactly around the block for me.
Best of luck with your search though - and thanks for restoring my faith that there are actually women out there who find us geeks attractive... :rose:

Thanks for the good luck wishes as, well, I could use it! As to the Zitty, are folks still using paper ads these days? ;)

Nuggy, that was English and I still can't figure out what you mean...
I believe he wants to say that Munachi can't be in a relationship with you because of him. And to my knowledge: no, they are not a couple. More like a running gag around these parts. :)

There is no relationship outside of Fennel (ich) posted a thread and Nuggy and Munachi replied.

Does that help?

Go to a night club/ disco in Eastern Berlin

Fennel,. I feel so sorry about learning this place too late. I spent almost 4 years in the area and missed the type of company you are in need of now.

Why don’t you try just getting out to a night club or a disco. However, go better to the Eastern part of Berlin. To my astonishment I found the Eastern Germans are much eager to talk to foreigners and they are not so narrow-minded and closed about sex as the “echte Deutschen aus Westen”.

exactamente. parece que has dado una descripcion perfecta de mi, jeje.

Thanks for the well wishes! I do get out, but it's usually with friends. Doesn't make for easy pickups, but I do have a great time dancing here. :)

Otherwise, well, the lover is still available (even on his limited schedule). LOL, my basics still get met.

(On a side note, I am sitting at my favorite cafe right now watching my favorite hottie waiter. You Germans know how to breed 'em...)

Berlin war nur bis Nov. 1989 interessant, von mir aus können sie die Mauer wieder aufbauen. :D

Zum Glück stehen die Mauern (6 meter hoch) in Belfast noch.
oh Belfast, where in my early boyhood so often I have been...UDA, UFF, IRA, R-IRA, RHC, P-IRA, UVF, SPB, I salute you boys. :)

may I accompany you, I know a cozy cafeteria in Berlin.
the Name is Josty. sind irgendwie Verwandte von meiner Mutter... :)

To Berlin, with love....

Lol, Fennel, you sound so naive ... I just cannot but smiling when reading your writings (NO bad intentions, solo Buena Fe….). Why do you think all the ppl posting in here are the Germans? The fact I speak fluently German does not mean I belong to this ethnic group… You know why these dudes look so nice? Say “thanx a lot” to the Red Army of the disappeared USSR. As a result of that long stay you see extremely attractive and nice people. I assure you the Eastern Germans are politer and nicer than the Western ones.

Pls, follow my advice and when hanging out, rid off you friends… Go for a venture! You are sure to meet good dudes who are hard-working stallions in bed as well (ha-ha-ha… In part this is what are looking for, ain´t you?)

Ah, one more thing… The first time I arrived at Spain I got to learn the language. My university companions shared some Spanish wisdom and told me the best way to learn the local tongue and culture is with a glass of wine in your hand… Now I speak Spanish as well as they do and sometimes I correct them in many grammatical aspects…

Good Luck!
