Back in the eighties I was pretty much just a metal or hard rock fan. My high school gym teacher used to run the T-shirt booths at the Civic center and employed some of us to work the tables. Cool thing was the small booths stopped selling when the main act came on, so we could hang out and watch the show. I was the only one that volunteered for all the metal shows while other kids were doing Stevie B (Ugh) and that type.

Springsteen came in on the Born in The Usa tour and he needed someone and asked if I wanted to work, I'm like sure, money's money and I'd leave when we sold out or shut down. Ended up staying and left a fan, like holy shit the energy in that show was just insane.
