I propose the time period of April 25 to May 6th. It is not too hot there then and that just happens to be when the Jazzfest is taking place!

I would prefer to take in Mardi Gras too, but that is a good two months earlier, and I would have just as much or more fun at the jazz-fest. Jazz Man Jim could be our tour guide (I just volunteered you JMJ ) and we could have all kinds of fun.
