OOC: For now, this is a closed thread for someone (he knows who he is) and me. When you see an opening, please jump in and join our adventure. Happy reading and hope you enjoy!
Amanda Brooks
34 yrs.
5'3"
petite, 110 lbs.
Shoulder lengthed chestnut hair
Hazel eyes
IC:
I picked up my handwritten directions and glanced over it again. Turn right at "Sunshine Aviation Inc" sign, half mile down...can't miss it.
Looking at the worn sign, I wondered what I was getting myself into. For my 34th birthday, my best friend gave me a gift certificate for an hour of free flying lessons. Learn to be a Pilot, it read. I somehow got the feeling, I'm a victim of a re-gifter.
Go, she convinced me. You need to go out and do something exciting. It's true, I was in dire need of some excitement. My life consists of work work work and no play since my divorce six months ago.
So, here I am.
Hesitating a bit, I thought what the hell. I'm not doing anything anyway.
I found the building with no problem. I guided my car next to the lonely truck in the parking lot.
I stepped out and stretched my legs. Dressed in my Calvin jeans, snug white tshirt, black boots and Tom Cruise's Top Gun imitation shades, I thought I looked like a pilot.
I stepped in the office and noticed a lonely desk.
"Hellooooooooooo...." I called out.
