Well Chrys, I guess you and your lover are just going through the usual ups and downs of any relation - be it homo- or heterosexual. You didn't mention for how long you and your friend have been together so it might just be the "excitement wearing off" phase which usually hits every relationafter about 2 years (read that in a magazine and it felt VERY true)
