I don't really understand why people on forums seem to want to argue everything to death for reasons I doubt even they understand. The two ideas aren't even remotely the same.

A lesbian group scene is however, hell to write. You cannot use pronouns very well or extensively, As she or her could fit any number of the participants. You are constrained to add stark physical contrasts to the participants or rely heavily on given names. if you just run a smaple of your writing though, replace all the he and his with the male's name and all the she and hers with te woman's name, you will see it seriously detracts from flow in most cases.

Similarly, for your GB story, you can have a blonde, redhead and brunette, but once you get those three, new participant have to have some feature you can use as a descriptive or you get bogged down. it is an interesting exercise and canproduce a good story, but it will tax you as an author to write.

Another aspect of it is gangbangs tend to have dominance, humiliation or some other motive in most stories. AS an abstract idea, eight or ten women pleasing one is pretty erotic. As an exercise in writing, it's a bugerboo to do.

I kind of wondered about the logistical side of that. Having the minimum of just four characters for this sort of thing seems like it would be as hard for the reader to keep track of as the writer. I could well imagine the exposition would have to be a whole lot longer and more detailed than most erotica just to make character distinctions apparent.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get around this or has anyone already written a story that had an effective way to keep the characters seperate without disrupting flow too badly?

I've been thinking the group might not just be a random compiling of people, but rather a college softball, basketball or football (soccer) team. I am not going to apologize for offering my opinion on a public forum. If you want a private conversation then stick to PM's, that is what they are there for.

My premises, was someone (I don't remember who, you perhaps?) made the allegation or implication that a bunch of men in a gang-bang are always only out to get their nut off and when a bunch of women did the same it would be kind and generous because they were trying to only give pleasure to the receiver rather then busting an ovary. I rather like that idea. I was thinking names though for identification, but to make that work it'd have to probably be an extended story with a lot slower action.
