Length of online lit friendships

Just a random one here, how long is your longest online lit friendship, mine must be about 2 years, what about you

The longest for me was 2 years also. Two of them lasted that long. I still think about them everyday.

I've chatted with one guy on and off for about 2 years now. Although we don't chat all that much anymore, once every few weeks one of us will decide to reach out.

I have a friendship that is maybe 4/5 years.

Most are shorter, I suffer from foot in mouth...

One since day 2 of me being on the forums, so we are three years and a few months in and still talk every day.
Another is almost three years in and talk every day except for when my head gets the best of me
And a couple that are at the two/2.5 year point

The others are super short for several reasons.

Off and on about 3 years but I will say the friends I make on lit are much more fulfilling and longer lasting than other communities, say Reddit or fetlife.

I joined Lit due to the pandemic... I lost work so had free time... Unfortunately!

I have made some long term online friends that I chat with regularly and more. And I have met a few more than I thought I would in person mostly around my nudism gatherings and my modeling.

My longest was about year and half but it was completely platonic, just chatting a couple of times a week but we were half a world apart so it eventually ran out of steam. Have never found anybody here for anything more than that.

A couple relationships closing in on ten years, not exactly sure. Eight years, at least. Both good, close friends. Another one is around three years, she's excellent. We're very close friends too. A new one, going on about nine months. I like them very much

We did not and have not met. I mostly blame myself. I was not in a good place in my life and honestly just didn’t expect to encounter anyone so close by. We coulda shoulda woulda.

I have one Lit friendship that as lasted for about 20 years. We don't communicate nearly as often as we used to, but I still think of her as a dear friend.

There are a couple of Litsters that I met when I first joined that I still keep in touch with but not a ton, @haha_on_me is probably the longest continual friendship I've had here...we're going on well over 10 years now!

Are you sure it's that long? I'm not old enough to have been chatting that long.

I’ve had some that are getting to be around 10 years. I still talk to them nearly everyday, usually through Kik, but we’ve shared major life moments both good and bad.

They are dear friends.
