If my role play thread was washed away by the sands of time (with 0 reply), how may I re-post it and try my luck again? Should I delete the old post? Do I have to rewrite parts of the first post? Or is there a way to legal bring back a thread to the attention of general public without having to make a new post?

(For anyone interested, it's this one for which I make the inquiry. I know it's hardly one day old by now, but I'm just preparing for the worst.)

Usual method is to post a comment on it - "bump" is popular for that purpose.

Threads die. Some should not be revived. This one probably should, so here I am performed thread resuscitation.
