I never shave my legs. I use Braun Silk-epil, it pulls out the hairs by the root, I am silky smooth for about two weeks.

Years ago I bought and used the Epil Lady. Hurt like hell but, I'll have to say because of it I have very little hair to shave. Not much grew back after pulling it out by the roots.:D

Yup, waxing does the same thing. :D

When I do shave, I usually do it lying down in the tub. I hate shaving in the shower.

i hate shaving....

I have Epilady but never use it any more. It did hurt and wasn't really effective.
Silk-epil is great, I even got a second one, newer model for my daughter (age 14) and advised her NEVER to shave her legs. She has adjusted to it nicely.
It only hurts a little the first couple of times, more like a burning feeling, then you adjust and never blink an eyelid while using it.

I've seen those and wondered if they were better. Maybe I'll give it a shot.

Yes do, I recommend them warmly. The newer models also have extra 'heads' to use on armpits and bikini.

Now that's intriguing. I think you should get some kick backs from Braun for making a sale. ;)

LOL... I wish! But no, the one I have is about 20yo I think... I still shave my armpits and bikini :D

I never grew any hair on my legs or arms. Only a little tiny bit down there and under my arms, but I got rid of that.

I stand on one leg and bring the other up to the wall. It's easy and a great way to stretch those hamstrings while you're at it!

i do it a combination of different ways, usually seated on the toliet or shower seat. If i use the electric saver, sometimes i shave on my bed or couch.

Use to depending on how clean of a shave I wanted:

Just to the knee I'd stand in the shower with a foot on the edge, all the way up to the thigh was sitting in the tub.

Now that I'm about 33 weeks pregnant, it's all very akward. I have to lay in the tub and take lots of breaks due to a baby belly being in my way. Then at some point I tend to sit on the side of the tub. There's probably an easier way but I just havn't discovered t yet.
