Sorry to say this, but I'm just not feeling the new format.

I don't think I will be posting much more either, sorry.

However, I don't want to kill off my stories, since so many people put hard work into them.

So, anyone who has contributed, and wants to be the new editor for Book of Magic, and Quiet Streets, let me know either here or PM. I'll switch ya over.

Laters,

Stuart

Regardless of the fact I've only been a chyoo member for a short period of time and therefore haven't got to know that many people in the community it will be a shame to see you go Stuart.

From what i've read of your threads in your own stories and your contributions to other people's stories you are a very good writer.

I thought about contributing some stuff to Quiet Streets but didn't for a few reasons. I'd ask to be the editor of it but as you also don't know me it's seems unlikely really.

It'll be a shame to see you go.

Another one bites the dust.

Hello,
well where do I begin? I knew you, Stuart, was not very happy with the new CHyoo. You're not the only one, trust me! It seems like only a couples weeks ago when you came to Chyoo. It was really a couple months ago... maybe 4 or 5 months? I can't remember exactly. I do remember how you came in and shock things up. When you came into our community we needed a change. It had been the same members for quite some time and we were all heavily into writing and I speak for myself when I say this, we needed somebody to help us write. I think a person can only write so much before they burn out and need to recharge.

I have been here almost a year now. It's hard to believe that it has been that long. I am still here. I don't write as much as I use to. I am "recharging" my batteries for now. My main goal recently on Chyoo has been to leave my stories and writing up to others. I am here to do my best as the editor of my stories and to keep in touch with friends and fellow writers through these forums. One thing that I have noticed, is a change in the members. Most of the longer, most established, best known members have almost disapeared off the map. There are so many who use to run this place! Our community is becoming more faceless everyday. It's kind of sad.

It's great to have new members... but from the CHyoo.2 site they can't access these message boards. How are they going to know that they exist? I think the message boards are the life-blood of CHyoo. It's here that writers put their heads together and come up with the truely great ideas. It was here and in our heads that a great story like "Quiet Streets" was born. Chyoo will be a lot quieter without you.

And, I'd be honored if you would consider me for editor of your story. I don't know about Book of Magic, but I'd love to baby-sit Quiet Streets for you. That story is our baby Stuart, and I'd be honored if you let me take care of her until you want to return. One day when you want to return to Chyoo "Quiet Streets" and us members will be ready to welcome you.

I hope everything works out for the best. Maybe one day you will again be inspired to write more of what we have come to expect. Until that day, we'll miss you Stuart.

Goodluck.

Thanks.... Last post for a while

Thanks guys.

It isn't easy giving up on this, but other projects are piquing my interest right now, and I'm just not feeling this place.

If you want to read more of my work, right now (If you didn't know, I'm a gamer geek) I'm working on the update to the D&D Guide to Unlawful Carnal Knowledge with another board. I'm doing all the play-by-plays of the new rules.... (Suprised? I thought not....)

Here's the link, www.netbook-of-uck.net

I will stop by again, and I'm gonna give the stories to Niceguy, nothing personal, Deathofcards, but I know him longer...

Stuart

Good luck

It's sad to see a good writer like you leave the community.

Good luck with your new projects.
