Learning Curves: A taboo story

Darrel and Jessica inherited the family house when both of there parent’s died in a car accident 5 years ago. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to provide much in the way of money, so Darrel took all of his college tuition and added it to Jessica’s and dropped out of school to work construction to provide for his little sister.

Jessica was a smart girl but not the most confident, so she deals with a lot of harassment at school and is often exploited by those who prey upon the seemingly helpless. She was never able to stick up for herself, no matter how much Darrel tried to teach her. His long work hours don’t leave him much time to spend with his sister, and since he wouldn’t be attending school anymore he asked his best friend, Dominique to look out for her.

Being the good kid and loyal friend that he is, Dominique accepted the responsibility. He’s always done his best to keep her out of trouble, but it’s a bit of a full-time job with all of the trouble that seems to follow Jessica everywhere. Overtime, Dominique has become quite fond of Jessica. They’ve since become best friends and there might be a special place in Dominique’s heart for his friend. Unknown to everyone though, Jessica has her heart set out on one person.

*(This is designed as a high school drama with a forbidden relationship at its core. The Dominique (male) role needs to be filled as well as people to make trouble for the protagonists throughout.)

Darrel can be rough around the edges and pretty intimidating at times, but only if you piss him off. The best way to do that is by messing with his little sister. He works construction full-time to provide for him and his little sister, Jessica. He’s very methodical rather than hot-headed, making him even more dangerous. However, beneath his rocky exterior he’s a very likable guy. Making sure that his sister’s future is bright is his number one priority. He works construction full-time and put all of his dreams on hold indefinitely to be able to provide for him Jessica.

Jessica was a senior in high school, almost a graduate. She wasn't the most confident student. In fact she was shy, antisocial, and nervous around others. The only one she was comfortable around was her older brother, Darrel. She enjoyed art, whether it was painting or drawing, and she spent her free times watching animes and reading mangas.
She was always picked on by popular girls, and approached too often by the boys in her school because of how she looked and acted. Some tried taking advantage of that, but thanks to her brother's friend Dominique, they stayed away. She trusted him, and knew a little he liked her. But, she didn't return the feelings, because she was more interested in someone else. And that someone... was Darrel.

Darrel groaned as he hoisted himself out of bed. His muscles and joints were ravaged from yesterdays grueling work tearing down a condemned building. He wiped his eyes and made his way to the bathroom. After he showers he knocks on Jessica's bedroom door before opening it slightly and sticks his head in. He sees movement under the blankets in her bed.

"Showers all yours, Jess."

He gets dressed and go down stairs to make coffee and breakfast for him and Jessica before she goes to school. Jessica was taking longer in the shower than normal. What was taking her so long? She's usually quicker than this.

Jessica pulled her hand from between her legs, blushing as she finished washing and got out. Stop it. He won't be happy if he knew. She scolded herself. She grabbed one of her shirts and a pair of pants out of her closet and threw them on, not really looking forward to school today, and she sighed. She couldn't stop thinking of her brother, nor stop masturbating without him in her mind.
She shook her head and went downstairs, sighing as she reached the bottom and walked into the kitchen. She looked up at Darrell and smiled, saying. "Morning." before she sat down at the table and started eating her breakfast.

Jessica came into the kitchen and seeing Darrel's broad shoulders excited her immediately.

'Morning' she says as she walks in.

'Morning, kid. How'd you sleep?' He says as he smiles over his shoulder at his innocent young sister.

Jessica looked at him and said softly. "I slept fine." She shifted in her seat before she settled down and finished eating, her golden-brown eyes glancing at him as she bit her lip a bit.

He sat and ate breakfast with her.

"Listen. I'm gonna be working late again tonight. If you get hungry you can make yourself something or order out."

With that he reaches into his back pocket and hands her 20 dollars.

Once they've finished eating he takes there dishes and puts them in the sink. He turns to his sister and smiles.

"Have a good day, sweetie."

He puts his hand on the back of her head and kisses her on the forehead.

"I love you."
