I am sorry for your loss, but you are not responsible - she had other options, including kicking you to the kerb. In one of your other threads you mention her difficult childhood and her being a survivor...

She would have survived walking away, and she would have known she was strong enough to do it. Ultimately no one is responsible when someone else chooses to end it.

You should get some counselling if you aren’t already, x
