Silk slipped his sword through the rings in the Enforcer armour. The invading warrior uttered a quiet sigh as the blade stabbed through his lung. Silk slid the sword back out again and on soft feet crept away.

The Dratarian woods stretched for miles and miles. It was a forbidden and dangerous forest. Supposedly the home of elves, fairies and other folk that were best avoided. It was dark, wet and made Silk feel uncomfortable. Like someone was watching him.

He much preferred the city with its bars and crowds that you could easily get lost in. Steal a purse and be gone. Slip into a house, take what was needed and then lose yourself on the rooftops. Simpler and easier.

Here, only the gods know what is watching you. But truly he had no choice. Dratarian had surrendered to the invaders, and part of the conditions of that surrender was to give up it's heroes. Someone thought he was one of them.

So here he was. On the run in the woods making his -

Silks foot stepped on something and for a split second he realised his mistake. But before he could utter a curse the net sprang up around his and he found himself entangled and helpless swinging twenty feet off the ground.

Anira walked towards the buffoon now hanging from her trap. She straightened her soft green tunic and then reached down into her brown leather boot to retrieve her dagger. Her soft brown leather pants made nary a sound as she approached. She put her bow over her shoulder and grinned at Silk.

“I see the fool is yet again too sightless to keep himself out of trouble.” She said as she circled him. She had always preferred the woods and now was no different. Her clothing allowed her to blend in easily and be hidden from view. However, she had no desire to be in hiding now. She had been on a mission, one of urgent matter, only to be told that she must lay low. While the woods were her home, she would have preferred to be there by choice instead of design.

“Alas, I cannot skin and eat you, though I would take pleasure in the skinning.” She said and then slashed the cord, causing Silk to fall rather ungracefully from his ankle noose. She wound up the extra cord around her hand and then pulled it roughly from his foot.

“Why are you in my woods? I know you have no love for them, nor I you. I would that you leave.” She took a moment to tie her long red hair back with a leather tie and then crossed her arms and waited for him to leave.

Gods! Of all the people, in all the forests, in all of Dratar, why did he have to step into her trap.

Silk spun as he fell so that his arms could partially break his fall. This wasn't his first rope trap, and probably wouldn't be his last. After awhile you get good and falling out of them. (Who knew that was a skill)

"Anira, dear lady, sweet lady, as usual your beauty eclipses all the flowers of these forests. I haven't seen you since the dragabsian heist. Sorry about what happened to your sister. But you did walk away from that one with what was rightfully mine," he said.

Silk stood and brushed off the leaves from his tunic and hair. From the corner of his eye he could see movement. They were big these bastards and not as subtle as they thought. They knew where he was there so best to act like he didn't know they were there. "I find myself out of the city that I love so much and here in your woods. I don't suppose you could find it within your heart to help a guy out."
His hand reached for the dagger in his belt. Silk was just about to throw it, but Anira was quicker. She -

Anira heard the footsteps in the background and, as if from reflex, she grabbed her bow, turned and shot the bastards between the eyes. She then turned back to Silk and half rolled her eyes.

“Do you never leave trouble behind you? You are about as subtle as a thunder clap.” She sighed and walked towards the now dead beasts and removed her arrows from their heads. She was about to walk away from the upstart entirely when he asked, or at least seemed to ask, for help.

“I’ve killed them for you, what more do you need?” the elf asked. She removed a cloth from her satchel and wiped heads of her arrows clean before sheathing them back into her quiver.

“Besides, I need to take off. This bloody Dratan thing has even effected me. How weak people can be.” She said and then put her bow across her shoulders. She studied him for a moment.

“Are they ousting you as well?” she asked and then looked around. “Come, more grow near and they will be none too happy that I killed their friends. Do try to keep up.” She told him as she began sprinting through the woods.

She knew these woods like the back of her hand. With great ease and agility she jumped over logs and dodged trees. There was one place she knew of that they could hide. It was protected by fairy magic and was difficult to find. She came to a waterfall and stopped.

She looked Silk over again and ground her teeth. She couldn’t stand him, yet, she would wish no harm to him either. He tried to preserve the good…in his way she supposed.

“This is going to sound crazy but…” she paused and then grabbed his hand. She pulled him through the waterfall and through seemingly solid stone. When they emerged on the other side, neither were wet and they were in a small glen with a deep stream running through it. The banks were covered in soft mossy grass and tall trees. There is a small one room cottage tucked in against the wall of the valley.

“You can stay here…if you must.” She told him and began to walk towards the cottage.

Great now he looked like an idiot, again.

Anira had the good grace to be only a little bit smug when she turned around to wipe the blood from the arrow. Silk gritted his teeth in irritation.

"Yep. Some idiot decided that I was the heroic type. I strongly denied it but they seemed very interested in crucifying me anyway. It's bad business this. Very bad business."

“Come, more grow near and they will be none too happy that I killed their friends. Do try to keep up,"
She said, a moment later she was off.
"Gods," he muttered and raced after her. He was physically faster than her. But that was on level ground. It was like she was running on a Blanket of air. Whilst he stumbled and tripped over every little root in the wood.

He almost lost her a few times, but she finally stopped in front of a waterfall. It was pretty enough, but didn't look like a very good hiding spot. A moment later she was pulling him in. He swore as she plunged through the waterfall and then the rocks.

"What the-"

A glade? So this is where she hung her bow. The trees formed a tight circle around the glade. Their leaves rustling offered the only sound. It almost sounded like singing, which Silk found a bit creepy. It was beautiful though. He couldn't deny that.

Anira led the way into her cottage. "I thought elves lived in trees," silk said, and felt stupid straight after saying it. The cottage was war and cosy. There was a single feathered bed in the corner and a small table with on chair. From the roof hung roots and food stuff that he didn't recognise.

He dropped into the chair and looked around. "So ... Now what?"

Anira stoked the fire and stirred something in the big black pot that hung over the flames. She watched him as he sat down in her chair.

“I suppose I do my best not to kill you.” She grinned sarcastically and then moved to hang up her bow and quiver.

“Even I need to get away some times. I’ve been here since…well you know. No one knows of it but myself, and now you I suppose. However, after you leave I very much doubt you could make your way back. You obviously have no skill for tracking…or really anything that requires much brain power.” She told him.

“Of course, if you don’t mind getting off your lily arse, you could either gather some more firewood here in the glen or…well I don’t know what else.” She looked at him for a moment as if questioning her judgement and then left him there in the cottage.

Not too far away into the wood of the glen was a hot spring. Anira brought only her dagger with her, as one could never be too careful, and then started to disrobed. After a few moments she stepped into the steaming hot water. The minerals in the water caused it to look white and opaque. However she knew there was not but rock and hardened clay in that pool, and so she leaned her head back and relaxed, her breasts barely covered by the milky water.

"wood?" Is this what had become of the mighty Silk. Master thief, master rogue, hero of the people??

She was so irritating, and condescending, but mostly irritating.

Silk wandered about for a bit, poking at bushes and burrows with a stick. Eventually he plopped down on a rock. He pulled his boot off and massaged his foot. He had more than a few blisters for running through the forest. His shoes were not designed for this sort of terrain. when he had fled earlier he had barely enough time to grab food, let alone travelling shoes.

What was he going to do? He saw a branch in the ground. It was mocking him, daring him to pick it up. "Screw this," he stood up and walked back towards the cottage. But he must he gotten turned around because the next think he could hear was splashing water.

He stepped forward and peered through the trees only to see ...

Silks eyes went wide. She was floating of her back, surrounded by milky white water. Her firey red hair blossomed out from around her head and her full breasts lay to either side, her nipple pointing away. Her skin was like ivory and he stared down at her feeling the stirring in his groin.

He dared not move. Had she heard him approach? It didn't look like she had. She was a pain in the arse, but who knew she had such an amazing body. They had been rivals for so long he'd never seen her in this way before.

"What are you looking at?" Said a high pitched voice in his ear.

Silk nearly yelled out in shock but he managed to cover his mouth in time. Staring inquisitively at him was a small blonde faerie. The faerie looked down at Anira's naked bathing form and then back at him.

"Naughty boy!" She chided wagging her finger.
"I wasn't ... I just ..." He whispered back to her fiercely.
"You want her. I can feel your lust," the Faerie said.
"I do not."
"Do too," said the faerie.

"Do not. I do not feel an ounce of lust for that woman. She is a pain in my arse."
"Anira is lovely."
"Really? Try spending time with her."
"You do feel lust for her. I'll show you."

Suddenly a little light shot out of her finger and hit him in the crotch.
"OW!!" He screamed.

Out of instinct she rushed up and threw her dagger straight at the sound in the woods, planting it into a tree just a few inches from Silk’s head. She then got out of water and wrapped a towel around herself and looked hard at where her dagger had landed. It was only then that she saw Silk.

“Noi gee tot!” she cried out as she picked up her clothes with annoyance. “You really are going to get killed aren’t you!” she cried out as she slipped on her boots. She then walked to where Silk stood and removed her dagger from the tree.

“Now you’re a peeping Tom as well?” she shook her head. She was seriously starting to doubt bringing him there. She wouldn’t wish death on an innocent…well mostly innocent, but this was ridiculous.

“Do you have anything to say for yourself?”

Silk was dreaming. A fog had fallen over his mind and he stared about the forest in a satisfied daze.

Anira was in his dream. She was mostly naked. Her pale skin inviting him to touch it. To run his fingertips along her neck and shoulders. Caress and massage her legs.

She was glaring at him. Her face as fierce and beautiful as her red hair. Fascinated, his eyes rested long upon her demurely taunting eyes and he leaned forward and kissed her.

fire and emotion filled the kiss. Passion, longing and desire at last found it's release as the man's lips covered the woman's.

His arm wrapped around Anira and he pulled her body into his. Her soft breasts crushed against his chest. She struggled at the start. Pushing him away but the longer the kiss went for, the weaker her struggled became.

Then the cloud of dream passed and Silk broke away from the kiss and then disappeared back into the forest. He walked for awhile. His legs carrying him where they would and then like most dreams it and the events within slipped from his mind.

Silk scratched his head and tried to recall what had just happened. Oh yeah he had been collecting wood. He shrugged and started picking up branches and small logs.

Anira was about to slap him back to the present when suddenly, he kissed her. She let out a plea of contempt into his mouth, but the more he kissed her, the more her complaints turned into a whimper. While one hand still held her towel in place, her other hand moved and touched his arm. Just as she was about to fall completely in his trance, he pulled away as if nothing had happened.

She ground her teeth and picked up her dagger. She felt the sting of embarrassment course through her as he turned and picked up wood. She held the dagger in her hand, and just as she was about to throw it at his head, she decided not to.

“Damn him and his good looking hair.” She grumbled as she headed back to the small cottage.

Once there she dressed in a pale blue cotton gown of sorts. It fell between being a proper dress and a night gown in style and comfort. She tied her hair back into a braid and then pulled out a jug of fairy wine. It was stronger than most and helped to calm her nerves. She set down an extra cup and plate for the bastard and then pulled a warm loaf of bread from the small pocket built into the top of the fireplace. She put it on a charger and then filled two plates with venison stew.

“Supper is ready you imbecile!” she called out to him. “Could care less if he starved and rotted.” She mumbled to herself.

She filled her cup with wine and set it on the small table next to her bed. She then took her plate of stew and got comfortable on her bed to eat it, leaving the table and chair for him.

Dinner

"Ah, we are insulting me. How refreshing," silk said, taking the seat.

She was really irritated with him. Usually the tension between them was a game of competitive one up man ship. He stole from her, she stole from him. But this was different. It was like she took his presence here as a personal affront. Why? He'd done as he was asked. Plenty of wood to last them for the next few days at least.

She looked lovely in her green dress. She filled it out nicely, and it clung to her body, pleasing the eye with every curve. She looked good in green, and green looked good on her. If she hadn't been scowling at him he might have found her attractive even.

They fell into an awkward silence. He played with his stew, and sipped the wine, which tasted of honey, flowers and spices that he didn't recognise. It was delicious, and she was knocking them back. Silk decided to take it easy. Sipping the wine and glancing at her from time to time.

He shifted in his seat, Frowning to himself. He had an erection. He wasn't semi hard, he was really hard. Like he was just about to cum. His dick was pressing against the leg of his pant. Pushing up uncomfortably within its clothed constraints. Silk glanced at her face, her body and her cleavage, which only encouraged his hard on.

"Thank you," he said breaking the silence. "I know you don't like me, and you didn't have to take me in, or feed me. I'll leave as soon as I'm able."

Anira played with her food, eating it only a little. She was embarrassed for what happened. She hadn’t let a man kiss her in gods knew how long, and when one finally does, he merely pushes her away as if he had done nothing more than relieved himself on a tree.

“I’m glad I could help.” She said softly and sipped her wine. “Despite everything you don’t deserve to be killed, or banished for the good you do.” She told him. Why did it hurt so much that he had pushed her away? Why did she have to have feelings, she hated having feelings. It was for that very reason that she kept to herself and secreted her home away.

She put her bowel down, slid her boots off and then took her bowl to the black pot that was now on the table and emptied her stew into it. After a moment she turned to tell him something when she noticed his raging hard on. She blushed hotly and looked away awkwardly to anything that wasn’t him.

“Should I um…would you like me to leave so you can um…take care of that?” she asked nervously and then quickly walked to the small side table and downed her wine.

"Oh gods!" Silk's face went beet red, and he used his hands to cover himself up. Anira was looking away, but he leapt out of the chair and faced the door. "That was... You shouldn't have seen... I'm sorry I ..." He blathered.

His cock was pressing against his pants in a very uncomfortable way. He slipped his hand inside to adjust himself, but as soon as he wrapped his fingers around his rod it went flaccid in his hand.

Silk frowned letting it go, and it immediately thickened and hardened until it was erect again. Weird, something it the wine maybe?

"I'm just going to go outside and find a hole where I can die of embarrassment." Silk ran outside. As soon as he got to the tree line the pressure in his pants slipped away. He stood panting. Confused.

He turned back to the cottage. Anira was looking at him from the doorway. He became erect again. What the fuck was going on.

Silk turned and ran.

Anira stood in the door way Watching Silk with great confusion. She hadn't understood exactly what had happened or why Silk was so upset.

Part of her felt for him. She had never seen him so flustered, he was usually fairly calm and collected . Her first instinct was to go after him but she thought perhaps he needed his space.

She decided to try and be nicer to him upon his return. It was clear that he was under significant stress. She put the fairy wine away and started a small fire in the outside firepit. She then pulled out two chairs made of woven vines and placed them before the fire. She hoped he would be back soon, else she would have to go looking for him.

Silk could be buffoon, but he wasn't stupid. After wandering the forest around the glade he began to figure out what was going on.

After some experimentation he found that he was unable to coerce himself into an erection. He stroked, and teased himself with his hand, but nothing he did made himself harden. But the mere sight of Anira caused him to stiffen within a second.

When he returned to the glade he was carrying an assortment of wildflowers, bunched in his fist. He held the flowers before his crotch protectively so she wouldn't see.

Perhaps it was the lust that naturally follows his erection, perhaps it was the firelight, but she looked beautiful, otherworldly sitting before the fire.

"Someone, or something is messing with me," he said. He was unable to look her in the eye. He offered her the flowers and then turned away so she couldn't see his shame.

"I thought you had cast a spell on me at first, but after I thought it through I realised it couldn't have been you. Not after how you reacted in the house.

"I am going to leave. If someone is messing with me, then there is a chance that I deserved it. But if they are messing with you through me, playing with your emotions, well I don't think you deserve that. So, I'll take my chances with the enforcers. I am just sorry for all the trouble," he said.

Just as Anira was starting to worry, Silk came back to the cottage. She stood up and walked towards him. She listened as she spoke and smiled a little.

“No…no it wasn’t me.” She told him and then gently guided him towards one of the chairs for him to sit down. The flowers his erection for now, but she had made a conscious effort not to embarrass him again, and thus, kept her eyes on his face.

“I believe some fairies are having some fun with you.” She said gently, looking around the area as one would look for mischeivious children. “For that I am sorry. I’ve never brought anyone here before.”

She moved and sat down in the chair next to him and then crossed her legs towards him and got comfortable in the chair.

“Please, don’t go. I’m sure their magic will wear off…” She was touched that he actually seemed to care about her emotions. “I assure you, they haven’t the gumption to attempt to mess with my emotions. Though I know one fairy who is going to be in very big trouble.” She said, looking around again. Suddenly, a tiny spot of light took off into the woods at an expedient speed.

“Stay, everything will be fine. I’ll not have you throwing yourself to the mercy of those brute.” She told as she touched his arm assuredly. She then walked into the cottage and when she returned she came out with two small cakes and gave him one.

“Let’s put it behind us, shall we?” She smiled softly.

Silk remained flustered for a time. His erection continued to throb and rage within his briefs. Anira's dress displayed a generous cleavage, which did nothing to alleviate the tension between his legs.

Their relationship had always been a little flirtatious, in an antagonistic sort of way. That she was being nice to him made him feel unsure and wary. Wary of her, but more so wary of himself. His skin was flushed red and he was breaking into a sweat. His eyes locked onto her, but every once in awhile they would dart down to her mouth.

He licked his lips his mind threatening to wander. His skin felt hot, so he slipped out of his tunic. His chest bared to the cool night air. It was something of a relief.

"This is a pretty intense spell," he said. He chewed on the sweet cake. Doing his best to not think about sex.

"Just as well the object of my affections is someone who is actually sexy and not some two headed giant troll," he said with a laugh. "Are there two headed trolls in this forest?"

As Silk bared his torso, she couldn't help but tale interest. His skin was toned and golden in the firelight. It had been so long since she had been touched or touched another that her fingertips began to ache. She ran her hand through her hair and tried to bring herself back from where her mind was wandering.

"Sexy am I?" She laughed softly. "What hoped to smack jawed devil eyed ogre harlot?" She asked in jest. He had called her that once when she had managed to steal a golden emblem from some thieves before he had gotten to it and thus, he was not able to claim the reward.

"Perhaps some rest will help the magic wear off. You take the bed in the cottage. Since you aren't used to nature you will be more comfortable there." She said as she went into the cottage and brought out a blanket.

"There's a stretch of moss along the creek side I like to sleep on and watch the stars. I will be there if you need me. I think I shall try and find our fairy friend as well and see about this mischief."

With that she paused and looked at him for a moment before bidding hum good night. She walked to the creek moss and laid down, pulling the blanket over her. She looked up the the tree branches and watched the brightly glittering stars.

Silk lay back within Anira's furs. Part of him had hoped that she would share them with him. He had certainly fantasized about it enough this evening. Her every curve enticed him further until he was swimming in lust and want.

But as soon as she departed his erect subsided. He wanted to pleasure himself, but the spell wouldn't allow it. Every effort failed to bring back his rod. He gave up and stared at the roof of her cottage. Immersed in her smell which covered the furs and bedding.

An hour passed, and then two. Stealing away his restless energy. Eventually he closed his eyes, and slept.

As Anira laid down to rest she felt a crackling sting upon her lips. She jolted up and touched her lips, for a moment fearing that she had been stung. As she felt that everything was normal, something very odd seemed to flow through her. Her body hummed and it suddenly felt too cold to be sleeping outside. She rose and walked towards the cottage.

The fire had long died out though it’s smokey essence still hung in the cool night air. She walked inside and saw Silk laying in her bed. She had known he was there, but somehow, it seemed unexpected. Perhaps it was because their dealings had always been brief and sarcastic until now, now when it seemed they were both running from the same thing.

She didn’t enjoy the strange sense of vulnerability she felt when she looked at him now. He was beautiful. Soot black hair, broad chest, and handsome features. She slowly walked towards the bed, the night air suddenly felt frigid. She slowly removed her night gown and then pulled back the furs. The bed was small, meant for only one person, but she managed to press her body against his.

She instantly began to feel warm as she pulled the furs over herself as well as Silk. Her arm went across his chest. She suddenly felt nervous and relaxed at the same time. She leaned up to look at him a moment, and without thinking, she placed a gentle kiss on his lips.

Silk stirred to the light, teasing brush of her plump lips against his. He smiled at the pleasant sensation of her soft flesh pressed up against his body. Half asleep his arm wrapped around her back, pulling her to him.

Her lips brushed his again. Teasing and exciting his mouth. When they brushed him a third time he kissed her back. He opened his eyes to see her green pupils staring down into his. Her long red hair spilled over her head tickling his face.

"What are -" he asked, Butwhen she kissed him again he became aware of how hard he was, and the heat that was simmering in his crotch. Each kiss was throwing wood onto that fire. It burned hotter, smouldering its way through his veins.

He grabbed the back of her head when she kissed him again. His lips covering hers. His tongue darting into her mouth and then out again.

His hands explored her naked back, running his fingers up and down the length of her Anira's spine, before settling on her soft round buttocks. He squeezed each in his hands, as he sucked first her upper lip and then her lower.

At first, she was surprised when he kissed her back. She hadn’t expected him to be awake. Then she wondered how she had gotten there…was she naked? Her eyes flew opened wide as she felt him kiss her hotly, his hands moving over her body. Her mind wanted her to pull away, but her body was disobeying her. She couldn’t do this…not with…not with…the person who made her toes curl when he kissed her.

Her heart pounded in her chest and she felt the world shake. She thought it was the feeling of kissing Silk, only to feel it shake again. She pulled away from him and felt another ground trembling shake.

“Giants.” She said as she scurried out of bed and got dressed. She looked at Silk for a moment and had a moment of hesitation. She had to make sure they didn’t smash her little home, to keep them away. She ran out of the house, grabbing her bow and climbing up into the trees. She watched them as they walked 50 yards away. They were dumb creatures, Giants, but they were still destructive.

She breathed a sigh of relief when they changed their direction. She shimmied down the tree and walked slowly back to the cottage. She stood in the doorway and felt more awkward and embarrassed than she had ever felt.

“Sorry about…about earlier. I think those fairies are up to their mischief tonight.” She offered as a weak explanation. It would have resulted in something that would cause them both to be complete enemies later, it was better that they were interrupted….at least that was what she told herself.

Silk gripped the ledge by the window, his head bowed. His back was to Anira when she returned."Sorry about ..about earlier. I think those fairies are up to mischief tonight."

Silk didn't turn. His hands just gripped the ledge that much harder. He wasn't erect, anymore. So the spell had worn off. That was a good thing, wasn't it?

"I'm not," he said. " I'm not going to pretend that what happened, didn't happen. Pretend that some part of me didn't want it to continue."

Anira looked down at the grip of her bow for a moment. She was unsure of how to respond. He had evoked feelings in her that she hadn’t thought possible with a simple kiss. However, she could not believe that he could want any more from her than a moment’s satisfaction.

She moved towards the far end of the cottage and gently leaned her bow and quiver against the wall. After a few more moments, she walked towards him and tried to respond to him as she would have as if they had never touched.

“Oh come on Silk, “ she said as she slowly walked towards him with a friendly smile, “if you wish to dip your blade, I’m sure we can find one in the next village.”

The words were bitter and acrid on her tongue and her stomach turned to knots as she uttered them. It was in that moment that she realized that nothing would be the same again, and she was surprised at how much that scared her. She hadn’t realized how much she had come to enjoy their farce of words and little tricks.

“Besides, I’m not any good.” She wave her hand, trying to reassure him. “I’ve extremely limited experience and I’ve been told I’m a terrible lover, so much so that I simply gave up on the whole thing.” She told as she finally reached him. She placed a friendly hand on his shoulder.

“Wouldn’t you prefer someone who knew what they were doing?”

Silk brushed her hand off his shoulder.

"I've been with terrible lovers. They don't kiss like you."

He walked past her and out the door of the cottage. He needed to be alone.

It was obvious how she felt about him. That she didn't want him the way he wanted her. He walked away trying to dispel the image of her green eyes so full of want looking into his. Trying to forget her lips wrapped around his, her breast pressed against his.

His walking turned into a run. Before he knew it he was sprinting through the forest. Leaping over branches and rocks. Trying his best to out run himself. It didn't take long before he lost his way. Puffing from the exertion he fell against a tree and stared at his feet. He sat there panting for a few moments.

"Fine then," he muttered. His hands moved to his belt and undid it. Before he knew it his hand was wrapped around his penis. He began to tease the head slowly. moving his fingers around the sensitive helmet and then stroking the sides between his long and ring finger. It didn't take long for it to harden.

He began pumping. "Anira... ohhh yeah..." he muttered his mind filling with fantasies of the boxom elf.
