Elderly man appears unconscious, bleeding from ear after shoved to ground by Buffalo, NY police

An elderly man was shoved by a police officer in Buffalo, N.Y., Thursday, resulting in an apparent head injury that caused him to bleed from one of his ears and rendered him unconscious.

In a graphic video shot by a WBFO journalist, the man is seen slowly approaching the police until one officer tells him to move and pushes him.

A person can be heard yelling “He’s bleeding out of his ear!” and calling for medics. The man is seen laying on his back with blood spilling from his head.

“Why the f--- you walking up on me,” one officer said, as the group of policemen dressed in what appears to be riot gear continued walking. The officers then immediately arrested another man holding a “Black Lives Matter” sign with his arms up.

NYPD Out of Control: Videos Depict Cops Ramming Squad Cars into Protesters

Police are using their squad cars as deadly weapons in their response on Saturday to protesters decrying police violence against people of color, most recently the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

Videos filmed on Saturday by witnesses show multiple incidents of NYPD officers using their vehicles to intimidate, endanger and willfully attempt to injure.

Many mayors say police officers won't be immediately fired for attacking Americans during George Floyd protests

The video footage from Sunday is clear: a black protester kneels on the ground, her hands in the air, as a white police officer shoves her face-first into the ground.

Police records show the officer has used force at least a dozen times and brandished his weapon at least 50 times during his four years with the Fort Lauderdale, Florida, police department. He once forced an elementary school student with a history of mental illness to the floor to handcuff her. Another time, he pointed his service gun at a woman, ordering her to drop the broom she was holding. In a separate incident, he delivered a “distractionary elbow” to a suspect's stomach while trying to coax the hand-cuffed man into the back of a police car.

and so on, and so on, and so on.

Fuck you Tom Cotton. Fuck you Trump. Fuck you adherents of far-right, authoritarian ultranationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, as well as strong regimentation of society and of the economy.

What a magnificent attempt to spin current events.

Meanwhile the rioting and looting and burning continues with nary a peep that MAYBE that's what's causing the police to respond as they are.

Good job!

New York City’s Curfew Is Only Leading to More Police Brutality

Determined to remain as out of touch as possible, the mayor has ceded control over the situation to law enforcement, taking every opportunity possible to defer to the city’s aggressive police force, which has been brutalizing demonstrators nightly. He sided with them when they attempted to run over a group of protesters in an SUV, and he sided with them on Monday when, despite his Lennon-inspired anti-“restriction” message, he imposed an 11 p.m. curfew. It was the first curfew instituted in New York City since the Harlem riot of 1943, an event spurred by a white police officer shooting a black soldier.

On Tuesday, de Blasio moved the curfew to 8 p.m., and in the two days since, it has become clear that the confusing, hastily executed order is nothing more than a license for cops to arrest peaceful protesters at will. It is a legal repudiation of the popular protest chant “Whose streets? Our streets!” and in turn the protests themselves. No, these are not your streets, the mayor is saying, and to prove it we’re going to arrest you if you’re on them after a certain time.

Here’s what that looks like:

More Police Brutality against Protesters in US: Daily Brief

Protesters who were attacked by federal troops in front of the White House on Monday evening as they were demonstrating against police brutality are suing US President Donald Trump and other top officials for violating their constitutional rights. This happened against the backdrop of more shocking police violence against protesters across the country last night.

Footage of actual events of police brutality called "spin" and continued denial of LEs unabated abuse of power. Footage and first hand accounts of LE STARTING the violence and we get continued denial. Reporters arrested on live broadcasts for being black we get contonued denials. Open admission by the POTUS and AG that the events are on orders at the highest levels and a Senator publishing an OP Ed in the midts of all this calling for massive escalation and military control of our streets.

Spin? You are contemptible.

How else is trump supposed to make america great again if he cant pulverize the masses into submission? Be a leader and use big boy words? Lol

This hasn't really become a national story yet: a recent Ohio State graduate protested last weekend and got tear gassed, died on Tuesday. I assume the autopsy report will eventually confirm what the people who were there already seem to know.

When you present ONLY 1 SIDE in a light that falsely portrays that side's argument, it's SPIN.

That you believe it's ok to, basically, lie by omission about what's really happening is despicable.

They're trained and paid to behave a certain way. That's why civilised countries have police forces instead of vigilantes. If they're willing to seriously injure people who are not posing an immediate threat, just because they're having a shitty week, they're not doing the job your taxes paying them to do.
If your postman got sick of your neighbour's dog biting his ankle, so shat on your lawn instead of giving you your mail, should he keep his job?

This really could go on and on.

Six Atlanta police officers have been charged after forcefully pulling two college students out of a car, smashing its windows and using a stun gun in the course of an arrest as protests continued nearby, a prosecutor announced Tuesday.

How many officers does it take to contain a woman? How many times was she tased before the officers found out they were being filmed?

Then there’s this guy

"Trump threatening to deploy the military. I have a better idea: unleash the real cops and let them take care of these barbarians. I promise it will be over in 24 hours. Cops are crippled by politicians and the (what appears to be the word) media,” one tweet said.

Dude, you literally spin EVERYTHING.

You are a piece of shit by nature. It's yours and your kind's attitudes that caused these riots and protests. Keep dismissing protesters as terrorists and you will have a president biden in January.

He acts as though this has not all stemmed from police using excessive force in an act of murder to begin with.

Watch the video of the 77 year old man being shoved to the ground and then see the blood coming from his ears. Listen to what the so-called "officers of the law" say and watch what they do and tell me the "other side".

Can't wait.

I'm actually seeing both narratives on TV:

1. Some Police violent attacks on peaceful protesters and news crews,

2. And some authorities going soft on arsonists, some judges even bailing them out after they were arrested!

((Rudi Giuliani was fuming about the latter.
He also made a valid point that deadly force against those who try to vandalize Police stations is appropriate, because "Police stations have sensitive documents about citizens who'd received complaints, have enormous amounts of ammunition, detained criminals in cells, who could either be let out or die in the fire."))

Why such completely at odds attitudes?
Many are due to the chaos, but others seem purposeful.

pfft he was only 75, quit exaggerating.

And despite no less than six video cameras taping this incident, the Buffalo police department continues to insist that he "fell".

And did you see the Salt Lake City police kick the shit out of the old white guy with a cane? They dragged him back behind a police barricade...that was okay...but then they had to go and kick the shit out of him once they did that...just because they could.

This is why cities burn folks.

Go ahead, defund the police, disband the police. You won't like what society looks like when every citizen is a vigilante and his own policeman.
