Actually I was just thinking about this on my way home. lol.

I thought it would be interesting to start a poll to find out what are our categories, as readers. That way, everyone could vote and keep their anonymity, if that's a problem.

Maybe two polls: one for male readers, one for female? See if anything comes out of that...

That's great. Now we only have the slight logistical problem of the 10 options limit for a poll and between 24 and 32 categories to choose from...

I hope you aren't offended that I ran with your idea, if so, my appolgies, I just found the idea intriguing.

Tonight, I'll try to get these (with GC's suggestion) going, but the effort may be chaotic; I'm still trying to get italics and quotes to work right in my posts.

Hmm... makes me think of a great opening line - this is from Ghost Story:
"What's the worst thing you've ever done?"
"I won't tell you that. But I'll tell you the worst thing that has ever happened to me."

Perhaps a variation would be: What is the one category you really like but don't write for?

I like sci-fi and horror, haven't figured-out how to mix it well with erotica yet.

Yep. I think the authors' poll should be something like "In which categories do you or would you like to write the most?"
