If you find yourself participating in a thread that violates one, two, or all three of those requests, then please do not be surprised to find that thread has disappeared.

These rules are here to protect the users of the site as well as our own asses from harm and/or legal problems. We attempt to respond to complaints as soon as we are made aware of them.

I'm very sorry for feeling the need to post this, but some people have continued to ignore my more subtle requests for cooperation.

Hi Lavender!

The reason I felt compelled to make a separate post is because the following scenario occasionally develops:

1) A user makes a post containing some personal information about another user.

2) Five other users reply putting the smackdown on the first user for being such an ass.

3) I am alerted to the thread.

4) I delete the thread, thereby removing not only the offending post, but also the replies that followed.

I just want the people who aren't causing the problems to understand why their comments might be inadvertantly swept out with the trash. It's not an indictment of everyone involved in the thread - it's simply the reality of needing to remove the inappropriate information.

Just a note to those who JOKE around about suicide. It's not a joke, it's actually a childish call for help in more ways then one. It's also a proven fact that those who tease others about it are usually the ones needing the help themselves. It's called asking for help!
Laurel...In my opinion you are doing a fantastic job with this BB and I still enjoy dropping in to say "HI" to everyone once in a while. So Good going to you, but I do have to say I am glad you are the having to be the babysitter. To me it seems like there might actually be some people out there asking for help for which I am not sure there is any.
Take the hint sexythang...suicide isn't funny and it's nothing to joke around about. Unfortunely there is to much taking of life in this world without you or anyone else thinking it's funny or teasing cruely about it. Weather or not you think so....it's not cool.
