Someone, please, start a Hamilton thread so we can stop hijacking mine!

Richard's a bit of a wuss; JC is sexy as all get out. I like Nathanial's hair, and he cooks and does laundry which is a BIG plus in my book. That being said:

I want Asher. Scars and all. Since the power struggle between JC and Anita is all but over, he's the character that fascinates the hell out of me. Especially in the scene in "Narcissus in Chains" when he topped Narcissus.

If you need me, I'll be in the shower.

Perve at will, folks.

Agreed, Asher is the Man. :D Well, after Edward. Always have had a soft spot in my heart for psychopaths.

I don't like J-C much anymore, he got too vanilla for me in that last book.

Say, can you make this thread into a poll, Snowy? Something like Which Laurel Hamilton Character Do YOU Want to Have Beat You? ;) If so, please include Micah on it, as I might change my mind and chose him.

I'm not looking up the character name but the guy that is the hitman from New Mexico.

Richard did turn into quite the sub. I didn't even get a quarter of the way through Incubus Dreams as it was essentiall one long fuck scene. Is there anyone in that book she doesn't fuck?

Someone give me the cliff notes if a plot ever developed and what happened in that damn book! I needed a lot more killing and a lot less romance.

The only thing is, how do we decide which 10? (I believe that's still the maximum number of options we're allowed on a poll.) The woman has a cast of hundreds! I'll have to do 9 then "other" I guess, but then I'll miss someone's fave and they'll hate me and follow me around giving me virtual wet willies and whipsaws and cruelly commenting on the blatant untallness of my stature... Also, JC would take three options all by himself. We'd have early JC, later JC, and then we'd have pre-historical JC. I got the feeling he was a bit meaner and more sadistic back when it was Asher and Belle and himself.

How's about we all just post paeans of lust about our favorite object(s)? As in, why does micah thrill you, too? I'm not really sure what it is about Asher. Well, I have a few ideas, but they're a bit personal, y'know.

This name sounds really familiar, can someone give me some book titles. With school I haven't been able to do much pleasure reading lately.

My dream fuck

Nahaniel and Micah....

oooooooooo

plus Jason....

oooooooooooooo

and then there is her whole other series (with the fae)

Give me DOYLE!!!!!!

Well, the problem's easily solvable. Just think outside the thread, Snowy: Do four threads, with ten options each. ;) Although I honestly don't think there are many more than ten leading men in those books, although I could be wrong.

Betticus, you're thinking about Edward my favorite psychopath.

My reasons for liking Micah were posted in Kill's earlier thread: his personality reminds me of someone I used to know. :)

Caela, Laurel K. Hamilton has two book series. One about fairies, one about vampires. We're talking in here mostly about the vampire series, and if you read them you should read them in order as the story continues from book to book. here's a link to the first one, Guilty Pleasures, on Amazon:

I'm probably gonna regret this, but . . .

Who is Laura K Hamilton, and what the hell are you all talking about?

Ooooooooooooh ok Can't be anywhere as hot as Christine Feehan's books. :)

Tainted, thanks for the link...I knew I recognized the name! I have her faerie books and love them but it's been awhile since I read them and have been cramming my head full of bio. stuff this semster. So need to re-read them when school lets out for summer.

Hamilton is on book 9 or 10? of a book series revolving around a female vampire hunter named Anita Blake, think Buffy the Vampire Slayer but even more sexual tension, a bunch more gore and violence, and a lot less campy humor (even though she is funny at times). They're listing over the very numerous love interests of Anita and deciding which one they like best, which includes things like vampires, professional killers, werewolves, and a few things I'm not sure I understand.

Anywho, I should probably stop reading this thread, I'm only up to Bloody Bones and I'm taking a break from the series after the wuss fest that was Lunatic Cafe. The spineless "oh don't kill things" attitude of Richard is a massive turn off for me. I like Edward, but then again I always liked the strong silent type that is always exactly where you need him when you need him.

I'm with Luna...give me DOYLE any day of the week. Haven't read any of her vamp books so can't comment on those.

I have been meaning to read Christine Feehan.

But I have too many textbooks that don't get enough of my time as it is.

As soon as summer kicks in I'm going to start reading her though. Even if it's just to masterbate to the hot sex supposedly in her books. *grin*

Isn't there another author similar to her... dang, can't remember the name... but same theme. And also found in the romance section (as opposed to Hamilton who is actually found in either the Horror or the Fantasy section depending on the bookstore.) Anyone know who I'm talking about??

A perfect list.

Hell - doesn't Merry get them all? *grins*

Doyle and Frost would be a fantasy fuck in my book. ;) Preferably both at the same time.

Damn. But of the two, I'd say Doyle is my favorite too.

Currently LKH is writting a short novella with Anita/Micah being the central characters then she's onto Anita book 13.
She's got her fourth (I believe) Princess Merideth book out on the 16th of this month. Amazon.com's taking pre-orders.

Personally- I'd do JC in a heartbeat (pun indended) and Asher's a close second in the vamp department. From the lycanthropes- I'm with Luna, Micah and Nathanial would be just yummy.

From the Merideth series- Doyle would be interesting. Also think Una would be fun- the one that's colored like a calico cat because his mother was turned into a cat while pregnant.

Pretty funny! :D I can understand the sentiment even if I'm on the opposite side of the fence.

Thanks for the link! I will try one of hers just for the hell of it. If you try a Hamilton, let me know what you think.

I'm gonna next time I have the money to get a new book. I checked with some friends of mine that I share book tastes with, and they said she's great.

Oh and if you can, start with Dark Prince. It's the first, the best, and it's easier to understand the rest if you go in order.
