I think that if there are some people who want to disassociate themselves from Lit., then so be it. I think that the members that are here know that Lit. is a place that can be serious and silly, sexy and not-so-sexy. I had a chance to check out this "other site", and I have to say that Lasher has done a good job. His board is rather nice. It has a lot of features which Lit. doesn't. But Lasher's board is missing one thing: character. I have been a member of this board since Oct. 1999. I have seen nearly everything that has been said here, and I can tell you that this site, and this board have been shaped by all of it's members. The greatness of Lit. is owed partly to the ideas and suggestions of it's members [But mostly to Laurel, but everyone already knows that she is a living legend ]. Does anyone remember when we wrote the "Literotica Reunion" series together, and we were all together making the site better. In the beginning, there wasn't much to Lit., but with the ideas of it's members, and the undying devotion of Laurel and Manu to the improvement of their brainchild, Lit. has become the best adult site on the net (in the opinion of most). And I would like to say that not only is it the best site on the net, but I believe that the members of this site are some of the best people whom I have ever met, even though I have never met any of you. I would much rather share my fantasies and inhibitions with you guys because I know you are listening. This site can not be topped, not by Lasher, or anyone else.
I think we need to keep in mind, though, the very basis that keeps Lit. alive: Freedom of Speech. Let anyone say what they want, where they want, but we know that there is no substitute to this site which most of us call home.. Literotica.com....
