hey Laurel,
I am currently working on what I consider sort of a damsel in distress project. This girl trapped in an abusive relationship and then one of the "boyfriends" friends finds out and sort of rescues her, pulling her out and getting the help she needs. of course she falls for him and yada yada yada.
In the begining of the story I've been describing the abuse, which is mostly physical. It's sort of a d/s relationship gone wrong. I'm wondering if this is too much, and would get put in the extreme section?
