Laurel DOES eat, and other revelations...

My hubbie (MasterMe) and I had lunch today with Laurel, Manu, and Unclebill. I learned several things:

1) They all exist, and look like absolutely normal humans. Attractive ones, even.

2) Manu reminds me of my college debate coach--very intense, very political, lots of fun. Great laugh. But, if he gets going on politics, unless you're in the conversation, you may not hear from him again for a good long while.

3) Unclebill's really quiet, respectful, pleasant, and an excellent listener. Sweet, even. Also, he has a killer memory for obscure TV trivia. Actually, that apparently goes for all of us, except MasterMe.

4) Laurel's TINY. I mean, really tiny. She's pretty, pale, has fine, sharp bone structure, and a wide variety of interests. Also, she's much shyer than you would expect. And, contrary to urban myth, she does eat. I saw.

5) Laurel & Manu have a wide knowledge of cheapie gore flicks. This is a compliment of the highest order.

Time To Out Risia

Risia is tall. I'll confirm that rumor. She's also pretty (she has a killer smile), witty, and funny. She's super charismatic - that's kind of like being asthmatic only a lot more fun. Her and MasterMe have a Hepburns/Tracey thing going on, and their repartee back and forth is splendid.

I had a wonderful time hanging out with them, and I have to tease them a little about how cute they are together.

Uncle Bill was super cool, as always. This time, Bill and I did not resort to arm wrestling to settle our political differences. Though, I think he & Manu did question just exactly how many push-ups I can do. I suspect somewhere between 60 and 90 - they estimated something in the area of 1. Some mysteries are better let unsolved.

We ate Mexican food. The guacamole was great, and I had a fun time.

BTW, if anyone can remember the name of the television show starring Ann Jillian as a ghost, we'd all be very appreciative.

Nah, I won't be back In CA for awhile. I was there for a vacation last May and that will be it for awhile. Plus, I don't tend to push people like that in real life.
