So, now I'm really, really curious…………. (as I'm certain a few others are too) - how far can this thing go?

By "this thing" I mean - hmmmmm? What do I mean?

I mean this - Patryn, Grey, Raven - whoever else or whatever else - schizoid - who's stalking who - mysterious e-mails to Purp man and who knows how many others - "Debra the detective" phoning hospitals - and lots of folks either taking it seriously or not - on this here BB…………

That's what I mean by - THIS THING!

And the questions would be, could be (and probably to Laurel but other's, do jump in with opin, please) -

How long, how deep, do the "board ethics" go that would prevent you (Laurel?) from letting the rest of us "in" on what's been going down regarding this matter?

This question of course purely based on the assumption that "you do," in fact know much more than most of us. Maybe you are as baffled as I.

I would suspect of course that your ethics are consistently based on "the health and well being of the board and its members," meshed with current legal realities. So perhaps - yes perhaps, the truth in this matter could seriously effect either, both or all - of those entities. And in that case - "mum" would of course be the word.

But if that's so - why not simply tell us - mum. Response: Sparky, mum is the word on this - sorry.

You could though, tell us more perhaps? Can you not spread "any light" on this matter without compromising your "mother of the BB integrity?"

If not, we would all respect that - (I would, I would guess most would too) - so just let us know then. Say something like, "this got pretty serious and let's just drop it." Done!

Yes, sure, I would think wow! And curiosity would eat at me for a bit - but not long. Because I would respect your decision and assume "someone hurting" would be hanging in the balance - nobody wants anyone to hurt - not I certainly.

So anyway. Opinions please. And Laurel - only if you wish - who really knows - this may be a big ole crock, blown way out of proportion. But my guess - maybe not.

I once asked Laurel to ban someone, because he threatened a member with physical violence (murder), and stalking. I regretted asking soon after posting.

This is not even close to the worse situation, or most intriguing identity quesiton, that has come up on this Board. There is no way in heckle I'm ever going to ask Laurel to play policeman again, particuarly for something as harmless as this.

Like she doesn't have enough to do. Like we all don't.

(Don't get me wrong, I'd love to know, Sparky, but Laurel sets a precedent here what will be next? Checking to see if you and I have actually ever lived in New York because somebody else doesn't believe us and they just HAVE to know?)

As for the murderer/stalker I simply told him I'd never give him truck again, and I haven't. That has worked out to be a much better solution.

I'm sure, that even though she has seen a lot of weird shit go down on this BB before - that she is as engrossed as a few of us are as well.

Laurel just doesn't have time for this, the best thing we can all do is ignore whomever is doing this. Whether it is grey or Patryn or whomever. It just someone who is out for some attention and it is getting really ridiculous. I will admit that this has gone on way too far. So we all need to quit discussing on theese posts because that is what they want and it is just getting way out of hand and they are probabally loving ever second of it.

In other words, I ain't saying a single word about this mess, or any other mess. I believe in the privacy of the members here with all the heat and heart and conviction that I believe in Freedom of Speech. Sucks, but it's true.
