She will become the new Ambassador to Mexico is my guess. Lara Trump will likely be the new Senator from Florida. I was thinking Gaetz but it looks like Trump will prevail.

It’s been reported in various media outlets that Trump has spoken to DeSantis about appointing Lara to the Senate seat and its well known that she’s considered running for Senate in her home state of SC.

No guarantee that DeSantis would appoint Lara to fill the seat. According to the WSJ, he is considering several candidates, including Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody.

There’s also the possibility that DeSantis could be a backup candidate for Defense Secretary if Hegseth doesn’t get confirmed. The optics of DeSantis appointing Lara Trump to the senate seat, then Trump nominating DeSantis to be defense secretary would raise some hackles.

DeSantis might have senatorial ambitions of his own, in which case he could appoint a caretaker to keep the seat warm for him and promises not to run for it when the special election is held.

The shorter path to the Senate for Lara is the Florida option but you could be right. It's all conjecture as we speak.
