This one is sort of complex, not something you can really just decide to do one night without talking to your partner first.

It’s a female superior position, so you should start by riding him cowgirl style… Have his head on a pillow so that he’s comfortable and have a pillow next to that, to your right when you’re riding him.

The end result is him lying on his back while you are on your right side (the word lateral implies this) with your left leg extended comfortably across his body, resting on his hip. The two of you will also be face to face.

Getting there is the tricky part. You have to have patience, be able to communicate, and be able to laugh at yourselves for it to really work for you, I’d say.

Anyhow, when you’re riding him have him lift your right leg with his left arm (you’re facing each other so keep in mind that his left is your right). While your leg is lifted have him slide his left leg under it. His leg should extend outward from his body, bent at the knee so that his ankle is aligned with his knee.

After he has done this and is comfortable you need to shift your weight to your left knee and then straighten your right leg.

Once you have gotten this far it’s fairly easy to finish getting into this position.

You lean your upper body into his chest in the same manner you would if you were doing standard woman on top and were leaning forward to kiss him. I wouldn’t recommend kissing though, lol, because you could lose your concentration and balance especially the first few times.

When you’re leaning into him, he needs to embrace you, supporting your butt with one hand and your back with the other. Then roll your bodies to your right/his left. Have him move back to the position he was in before the two of you rolled, so that his back is flat on the bed/ floor again. You stay on your right side, with your right shoulder supporting your weight.

From there… well you’re ready to go at it… remember… female superior, so you’re going to be controlling most of the movement.


Other that… a few other tips would be

1. Talk to your partner first. Make sure you both understand what you’re going to be doing.
2. Most of the stuff I’ve read about this recommends that you try getting into position with your clothes on before you do it in a sexual setting. Of course, when I tried it the first time (my partner had never done this before either) we couldn’t follow that advice. Might have been helpful.
3. Be patient, it might take a few tries. Do this at a time when the two of you have a good amount of time alone together and don't put a lot of pressure on it.
4. Have written directions handy in case you get stuck on a step.
5. You'll probably need a lot of space to get into this position, so if you don't have a big bed (queen sized at the least) I'd say use the floor.
