"Live from New York Empire States building, its Late Night with Cervantes De Leon! With tonights guests, Gnayryn from Elven Fantasy part Two, and PoliteSuccubus from Remaking Rebecca! And tonights special musical guests! The Dirty SHit Heaps! And now... Heeeeeeeeres Cervie!"

Cervantes:

Cervantes walks out to an orchestra band rendition of 'Never Gonna Stop' by Rob Zombie and kicks his feet up. Making jestures toward a few of the women in the audiance.

"Hello all and welcome to tonights show, its going to be a great one. We've got Gnayryn, a relative new commer to the scene here on LIT, but with tons of potential, PoliteSuccubus, the self called spinster aunt of lit, AND the Dirty Shit Heaps, with their own brand of music. So stay tuned, you won't want to miss a second."

Comercial break:

A man dressed as a pirate steps out of a rickety door way. An address flashes over top of the pirate as short video clips of an impressive pirate ship show in the background. "Arr matey, do you want some adventurr? Well then, come on out t'the docks an board Cervie's pirate ship! T'aint no pleasurr cruise, but tis sure to be th time o yer life. Free eye patches for the kiddies. Yarrr!"

Cervantes: Sitting at a solid ebony desk, a love seat next to it and a couch still farther down, the orchestra band ten feet from the couch and kitty corner from it as well. On the other side of Cervie is a stage for performances of all sorts. Tonight its set up for the band, DSH. The audiance is a smattering of men and women. "Welcome back to the show folks! Tonights first guest is quite new to the scene, but has lots of promise, lets give him a round of applause... Gnayryn!" Cervie stands up and claps, jesturing his hand toward the entrance from which his guest will come out of.

Gnayryn comes out into the public eye, clearly loving the attention. He smiles and waves at the audience, then walks over to Cervantes and clasps his forearm. "Evening," the redhead greets the host, taking a seat on the loveseat next to the desk. His green eyes twinkle as he waits for whatever comes next.

Cervantes:

"Hello, its good to have you on our very first show Gnayryn. You're awfully new the the scene here on LIT, but from what I've seen and heard, you're a consumate role player. Care to share a little bit about yourself?" Cervantes askes as he turns in his fancy swivel chair.

Gnayryn puts his feet up on the couch, leaning heavily on the arm of the couch to look Cervantes in the eye. "Well, ok, since you asked," the redhead replies in a voice that has a strange echo to it. "I was created a little while after the universe was--not sure how long, as my Mother is a total bitch and I'd rather have nails shoved in my eyes rather than talk to her--along with my Sister, Yin. This form you see isn't my true one, just the one I feel like appearing in right now, and my real title is Yang. Big surprise there, eh?" He quirks an eyebrow with a wry smile. "So, anyway, after dicking around for a few decades Yin and I discovered that we were supposed to be out saving the universe instead of what we were doing at the time--no idea what it was. Too long ago. We're both mages--sorceresses--and I at least would much rather be in some sort of state akin to death right now. Er--no offense. Just been alive too long for my own comfort...." He shakes his head as if to clear it, the furrows that had appeared on his brow disappearing. "So, is that enough, or would you like to know more?"

Cervantes:

Cervantes leaned back in his seat, listening to Gnayryn's story and when it was done, Cervie leaned forward. "Well... That IS pretty interesting, I mean, being born that long ago... And with the sibling rivalry, and... The sex change, it sounds like you've had a really rich life." Patting Gnayryn on the back with a smirk. "And I'll tell ya, I know guys that are dead, pretty miserable sorts really, just stick it out alittle longer, you might just get back into the swing of things." Drawing back. "Anyway, tell me about some of your latest roles in the role plays?"

He chuckles, his shoulders bobbing softly. "No, not really a sex-change, I'm a shape-shifter." Gnayryn switches tracks in the blink of an eye to answer the next question. "Well, recently I've been in the Elven Fantasy thread, and that's been fun. We have yet to get into the thick of things, though, so it should get even better." Gnayryn smiles widely, not quite showing his teeth.

Cervantes:

"Ah yes, this is the second installment to that series. You're a brand new member of the cast, and you were brought in shortly after production began, from what I understand. Can you tell me what its like to work with a whole new crowd of people? How are they taking to you? Made any friends behind the scenes? How's the craft services, you know, that sort of thing?"

"It's been a lot of fun, so far," Gnayryn says, nodding his head. "I haven't had that much actualy contact with people, I suppose. Just Thal and Aria, who has yet to even speak to me. And after I fixed her broken hip, too!" A note of mock insult and indignation enters his voice on the last sentence. But the smiles never leaves his face. "The rest of the cast seems to still be getting used to me, so I don't have very many friends, yet, but I'm hoping that'll change soon, too."

Cervantes:

"Yeah, them elves, when they get in character like they do, they kinda get snooty I hear. Don't mind it too much, I'm sure things will get much better soon enough. So, do you have any plans for the future? Maybe after this gig ends? Anything our fans can look forward to seeing you in?" Cervie asked casually, squeeking his chair back and forth, tapping a card on the table top.

Gnayryn shrugs, his face growing thoughtful. "Well, I don't have anything lined up currently, but maybe my agent will come up with something." The redhead turns and winks at the audience on the word "agent". "And now I'm afraid I'm going to have to turn the tables on you," he jests with a smile. "How long have you been on LIT?"

Cervantes:

"Me? Well... I didn't show up until just about three years ago... Wait, whats that?" Cervie looks up to a crew man making a jesture at him. "It looks like we've got to take a comercial break, Gnayryn, you wanna stick around? We have PoliteSuccubus joining us after this break."

*Fixes her make up in the Green Room*

Hum? Almost ready? All right. Who am I being interviewed as again? Or am I just myself? Myself? Fine.

*Gets up and stands waiting behind the side curtain for her cue*

The comercial set was full of beer comercials, and yet another spot for Cervie's Pirate Cruises. When the show returned, the camera was focused on Cervantes again. "Welcome back, our next guest is quite the performer, she's been in several role plays, and I doubt you could surf LIT very long at all without seeing her name at least once or twice. Give a warm welcome to PoliteSuccubus." The camera pans away and across Gnayryn on its way toward the guest entrance doorway.

*Smiles directly into the audience and blows kisses into the camrea lens as the tall blonde with a figure very simlar to Mae Wests crosses the stage to take the handsome host's hands in her own and kisses his cheek*

It's so nice of you to ask me to come to your new show, sweets. I like the decor you've chosen for your set, no one could possiably look bad!

*Sits and ajusts her corest dress of deep red velvet.*

Ask away, I'm all yours!

Cervantes:

"Well, Polite, first of all, I must say its good to have you on our first show, and thank you for coming. You've certainly got a wide variety of projects going on as of late, can you tell us a little bit about them? The people you're working with, where you think they're heading. Perhaps a little about what you have coming up, in the works?" Cervie asks as he arches an eyebrow.

Oh sure, Cervantes, dump it all in my lap! *she laughs, throwing her head back and lightly touching his arm*

Ok, my favorite project right now is Loa Blood. I have two wonderful ladies in that thread...*She morphs into a dark-haired slender woman, mid-twenties* Faith Honai is the daughter of a famous Locririan composer who was out of the country on a student visa studying Journalism when an evil tryrant took over their small country. When you think of Locrir think of all those happy touristy countries where people dance at the drop of a hat sort of place....

Faith now finds herself displaces in Bay City and in the thick of events involveing Gifted. Gifted a meta humans who, for good or ill, have been mutated by the blood of aliens who have been discovered to have created the world as a lab experiment.

The world is in total turmoil, and Faith is out to figure everything out with grit: A forthright human in a world of super-villians and heros.

I modeled Faith after Lois Lane and my mother, who is a tough kick ass babe in her own right.

*Grins at Cervantes and winks*

Cervantes:

Cervie smirks, giving Polite a suggestive wink at the mention of her lap. "People dancing in the middle of the street? Sounds like some wacky broadway nightmare to me. Heheh." Cervie jokes, then continues. "Lois Lane? Which Lois? The one from the old tv show, the movies or from that Lois & Clark show?"

A Combination of the Old "Superman" TV black and white show and the newer "Lois and Clark".

Smart, plucky, brave and sexy all at the same time. Relentless her her pursuit of truth and justice, but endearingly cute in the way she'll try to talk her way into and out of situations.

Her current love intrest is John Price, a local cop.

*Polite leans forward and whispers loudly* She's just moved in with him, but he doesn't realize it yet.

*leans back with a chuckle*

Faith's life has just been recently complicated by an unknown stalker played by Poohlive, who's stolen some of her underthings for his own amusement; and by Monolith, who has just confessed to being her older sisters long lost groom-to-be, whom Faith knew as a pre-teen.

Now he's a ten foot tall slab of stone; like a cross between the Hulk and the Thing. Well on his way to becomeing the frist reconized super-hero.

Cervantes:

"I've worked with Poohlive, he's a stand up kinda guy, good at what he does. One of the best in the biz to be sure. Its a pleasure having him on the set if even for a few minutes." Cervie comments, looking into the camera as he does.

Turning back to Polite. "Ah, but according to what I have heard, the director has made it known that these gifted ones arn't superhero's." Cervie says, with a smirk, watching Polite's reaction.

True, at this point if we were useing Champions RPG system the characters would be at about the 150 pt level, or so Swampy tells me. I've never used the system before, myself.

But, as we progress the Gifted will define their roles in the world. Some will become stronger, some will fight for evil or good....

Some will come into contact with more Loa Blood and become stronger in their current gifts or discover new ones.

The exciting bit about Loa Blood is it is very much at the beginning. There are no laws or anything over the meta humans. It's very much like the world in which the mutants frist came into excistance in X-Men. Time line wise, X-men would be about 25-50 years ahead of us.

Cervantes:

"So it is very much like the 'birth' of an age of superpowered beings? Very interesting, very choice. I, myself had never had to deal with superhumans of that sort, sure, vampires, mages, were's, ghosts, zombies, mummies, litches, even a gargoyle or two... And you say you play a mere human? Hope you have some good life ensurance. Hey, maybe you could take a hit of that Loa blood, and become super powered too?"

Well, *she morphs again into a fragile looking blonde waif* My other character Mary has been Gifted, but not with what one would call a "super power". She can change into herself at any age between ten and eighty.

She's been somewhat of a grifter; living off of the socail benefits of her various ID's...some foster care here, some social security there....

But at this point in her story she's finally made a friend who accepts her...in fact NEEDS her...in the form of budding super hero Kell, played by JC aka Dark Magic Girl.

Cervantes:

"Well, it certainly sounds like an interesting story... I understand you brought us a short clip?" Cervie said as a monitor rose up from the stage floor, looming over Polite's shoulder. "Set it up for us if you would, what's happening in this scene?" Cervie asks as he takes the remote for the monitor in hand and waits to press play.

OOC: Polite, just give a short intro, and copy and paste a really good post for this. ;)

*Morphing back into Faith*

In this scene Faith and Price are on their first real date to a Twelve concert. The place is packed when a supernateral event takes place right before the first Super villian appears....

*lights dim*

When the figure of the woman began to form Faith grabbed Price's face her her hands and forced him to look away.

"Don't look!" She shouted to him. "It's the Drowned Woman! Anyone who sees her face is doomed to die!"

But it didn't prevent them both from hearing the words: "People of Argo. Run for your lives. The first of the great beasts has escaped his island prison. It has begun."

"What..." Price began but the great rending of the Crusher's entrance prevented him from saying more.

"You will not get away! I will kill you all and burn this city about your unhearing ears! DIE!" It roared and began to lay waste to the people surrounding it.

Both Faith and Price looked for a way out while the crowd turned into a mindless mob around them.

Price grabs hold of Faith's hand tightly. "Don't let go!" He yells. "We can't go out the front, we'll get trampled." He pushes their way towards the stage, and the open door the band left through.

The concert hall is wracked by an explosion on the roof. People scream again, and small debris rains down on the crowd.

With her other hand Faith grabs the cam from her boottop and aimlessly takes pictures towards where the creature is undergoing some sort of metomorphus, hoping that some turn out. After leaping up on the stage she gets one good shot of it leaping through the newly made hole in the roof before Price practically jerks her off her feet pulling her towards the door.

Cervantes:

As the video clip ends, Cervie hits stop and a moment later the monitor decends back into the floor. He looks up at Polite then, clapping. "Impressive, quite impressive." He says with a smile. "Loa's Blood folks, keep an eye out for it, right here on LIT!"

Seeing the cue from one of the camera men for a comercial break, Cervie stands. "Well, it looks like we have to take another comercial break." Cervie reaches out and takes Polite by the hand. "Thank you very much for coming on my show. You're welcome to stay." Turning an eye toward the camera, Cervie smirks. "Up next, the Dirty Shit Heaps!"

Comercial break:

Beer comercial, a phone sex hotline comercial, and yet another spot for Cervie's Pirate Cruises.
