Draco Malvolge sat at a desk in his office. He had been working all day on a project for an investor. His secretary had stayed in the office to help him. Still, it looked like the project would go all night. He shook his head, then sat back in his chair, putting his hands to his eyes and closing them. He felt tired, but he was working on caffeine and food. Then his secretary walked in, and he removed his hands, opening his eyes to look at her.

OOC: your boss fantasy :p

Kate had volunteered to stay after-hours and help Draco with his project. She had known how important it was, both for him and the company they worked for so it wasn't that big of a deal for her. Her blond hair, usually kept in a bun was now free and dangling just past her shoulders and her ocean blue eyes, which were usually partially obscured behind a pair of glasses were now plainly visible.

"Here's my end of the paper work" She said with a small smile as she sat a positively massive stack of papers in front of him. "How are you doing?"

Draco raised an eyebrow, looking the stack of paperwork up and down. He shook his head, then turned his monitor to her. "Most of the work for the presentation is done. I've just got to scan in a few things, and then we have to start preparing the presentation pamphlets. Thanks for the help. Too bad the others aren't here to do any work. Oh well, with luck we'll be done by tomorrow." He stretched again, then opened up his scanner. "The paperwork will have to be signed once we're done. Did you remember the blueprints?"

She gave a nod of confirmation. "Of course. they're outside in my car." She gave a sigh at the idea of having to stroll out there, feeling mentally and physically drained.

"And about signing and the paper...why can't we just rubber stamp it? I'd like to go home sometime this century, ya know."

Draco shook his head. "We're not the one's signing. Our clients will be doing the signing." He sighed, and laid deeper in the chair. "We really shouldn't have put this off as long as we did."

She shrugged and gave a snarky smile. "You're the boss...it's your fault!" She exclaimed jokingly, trying to lighten the mood.

Draco sighed. "I know. I didn't expect everyone to go home early today. If everyone were here, we could have gotten everything done already. Then we could have gone home, gotten lots of rest, and be refreshed for the presentation."

Kate shrugged again and gave him a reassuring smile. "Don't worry about it, boss. I'm sure everything will turn out fine. Besides, I've operated on a lot less sleep than this."

Draco smiled, then sat up again. "Well, let's get these scanned into the computer." He started putting sheets on multiple a large scanner. Then he activated it, and let the computer do the work.

Kate repeated the process after those sheets were done scanning a few times, stacking the completed ones into neat piles. She let out a long yawn and shrugged again.

"How boring..." She whispered to her self.

Draco raised an eyebrow, looking at her. "Would you rather be stapling stuff together for the pamphlets?"

"I'll do what ever you want, honestly." She replied with a nod. "Like I said, you're the boss."

Draco shrugged, then went back to scanning, and cleaning up the sheets on the computer. Once they were all scanned in, he started arranging the pages in the presentation. It didn't take very long to do that, and once he was done, he saved it. "So, what now? We could take a break."

"Wow...really? A break?" She replied gingerly, suprised at the suggestion. She hadn't even really considered such a thing, much less bring it up. She was willing to work for as long as he wanted...but a break sounded grand. "Yeah that sounds really good right now."

Draco nodded. "I'm hungry. Do you know any place the delivers nearby?"

"Theres mostly pizza places, a few Chinese places here and there too. Up to you, I'm hungry and could eat almost anything." She licked her lips at the thought of something to eat after this horridly long work day.

Draco thought for a few moments, then shrugged. "Pizza sounds good. Extra cheese, double pepperoni? And don't forget cheesy breadsticks."

((OOC: Um, you know. Typical office clothing.))

"My favorite." She said with a small grin. "Now...are you going to order, or do you want me to? Because I'm starving..."

OOC: one, it's a closed thread...two, you could have PMed

IC: Draco shrugged. "I could, but I don't know who to call."

"Why not just Pizza Hut?" She sighed and kneeled over to collect a phone booke just in case he needed the number.

OOC: pizza slut is nasty...DOMINO'S...

IC: Draco raised an eyebrow. "Is there a Domino's here? I don't like fried pizza."

"Yeah, yeah. What ever you want." She quipped, slamming a phonebook in front of him. "Just order, alright?"

Draco raised an eyebrow, then opened the phone book to the pizza places. He dialed the number, and called the pizza place. He placed the order, along with an order for soda. Then he gave the address, and hung up.

Kate gave a sigh of relief and sat on his desk as soon as he hang up the phone, happy that she was finally going to get something to eat. She felt like she could eat a horse at this point.

"So...how long till' it gets here?"
