Well, the Big Guy did not make it. After seven days of the medication the vet put him on, he was not much better. I had also noticed that he had a growth around his penis. I took him back to the vet, and he said that it was cancer. The vet said he could operate, but there was only a 10% chance that he would live through it. The Big Guy was also 15 years old. He felt that the Big Guy was in pain and that it would only grow as time went by. So, I made the only decision I could. I held him in my arms as the vet gave him the shot, and as he passed away. He purred to me right up until the end. My husband and I buried him next to out dog that passed away last fall..under our bedroom window. Thank's for all of you that have cared over the past two weeks.
