Sorry if this post should have gone to the "Story ideas/request" thread.

Now I have done some searching in the celebrities stories and I found myself quite disapointed for only finding 3 stories about this sex symbol.
"Lara Croft's Undead Lover" and 2 about Angelina Jolie in a gymn.

I wish that DeannaTroi (I loved her Red Sonja in Hells) or Maguppy Pupp (Dorothy Does Oz is a must) would give a try at this raider.
I mentioned the two autors who's work I have most enyoided so far, but I'm sure there are many more around.

I mean mummies, bandits, scavangers, all sort of old myths, jungle animals, indians, etc, all are waiting in line to play dirty with this girl.

If anybody knows any more stories about Miss Croft (not Miss Pit) already out there, please let me know

Thanks
Cheers
;)

Sorry, for any bad spelling

I kind of concur about this one. I think the perception with characters like that is they are so sexualized already that there isn't anywhere to go. Personally I think the interesting thing about her is that she's from a rich family, lives in a mansion, and could oviously have any thing or any one that she wanted. But on her liesure time she goes off to these dangerous places where very good or very bad things can happen. That's the definition of potential.

Maybe she plays hard after nearly being eaten by a t-rex. Maybe she's mistaken for a new venus of willdendorf by a rock gollum (actually, forget that one). She can't shoot her way through a museum, so how does she get the curator to let her borrow an artifact? There's still a lot of unexplored ancient locales in africa, the oldest civilizations on earth, so there's your interracial thing. And on and on.

Unfortunately every time I start a story I either get distracted or just don't like it. But we'll see.

There is also a lot of her interactions with other treasure hunters. I could see a lot of fun being had with an Indiana Jones/Lara Croft cross over. Then you have the standard tentacle monsters that Lara is just designed for and begs for. You could make her hunting some sort of sexual artifact, its not like fertility goddesses are in short order.

There is a lot of potential here, I'd write it myself but I've been really flakey this last year as far as writing so I make a better sounding board as of late.

In my humble opinion, there is not a topic area that invites adventure. For example, I recently edited a series of 7 chapters for a writer that is actually quite good. It is called Chase Cooder and it is filled mostly with action and some sex. When the writer asked where it should be posted all I could recommend, based on the sex, is Erotic Couplings. This is in no way appropriate for what he has written, but where else does it fit ??

You can't fit a square peg... etc. So the topic areas on Lit only inhibits adventure stories in my opinion, insead of inviting them.

He's a good-natured writer and didn't complain, so I'll complain for him. Lit lacks some other topics that would otherwise invite other genres.

For those Indy-types that might be seeing this, give the series a chance, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I disagree. Between Supernatural/Sci Fi and Horror you've got most of your adventure covered. Besides most people read stuff off of the front page and your Title is what is most important there not your genre. Don't get me wrong I would like to see another category added. I think that Cuckold stories make up to much of Loving Wives and that actual loving "positive" relationships are practically forced out of the niche created for them. So I would like to see those two split.

Other than that yeah these things are supposed to be categorized by the kind of sex in them, as that is what most of the readers are going to be looking for. I wouldn't want to see an adventure category. It's all in the Title and what you put in the breif description. Not that it matters at all for this conversation because Lara Croft fictional or no is a celebrity and thus would be put in the celebrity category.

Point Taken

SR does have a point. I missed the SF angle and now regret it, as I see that is the direction I may have pointed my writer in. My bad!

Back to Ms. Croft.
I think Crystal Dynamics may have some copyright on storylines about Lara and others in the Tomb Raider universe.
Considering the nude patches for TRLR and TRC (4 and 5) were taken down, and Nude Raider picture distributers were sued, I wouldn't want anybody to take a chance on it.

The best video game character to make an erotic story around, is one that doesn't exist.
Valkyrie Wilde was an April Fools joke from PSM magazine.
She's a kindergarden teacher weekdays, a burlesque dancer (striptease artist) after school (children not in story most of the time), and a 24 hour nudist all weekend.
She raids tombs and solves crimes by hypnotizing her enemies with her double D breasts.

Well I don't know enough about Nude Raider to know the finer details, due to parody laws we are more or less immune and more than that as we A)don't make money and B) don't see really wide distribution (in the millions not tens of thousands) I doubt CD would bother to even write us a nasty letter.

It's Tomb Raider. Yes, you can write parodies of people, but I'm not sure if that covers copyrighted material. I don't think whether or not you make money changes copyright violations.

It seems to, but I don't know the letter of the law. I know plenty of musicians have been upset with Weird Al (Eminem, Coolio both immediatly jump to mind.) I can't imagine that Mad Tv and SNL have never pissed anybody off with their various parodies of everything.

Bottom line if someone didn't want to write this, fine not my bussiness. I'm just saying there are thousands of Buffy, Tomb Raider, X-Men etc floating around and I'm not in the least bit scared that I'm going to one day be sued for my Power Ranger stuff.

Place Thumbs To Noses

So let's write it...

Lara could've been anywhere that day. At home, a Central American jungle, on holiday... But she was ACTUALLY in her office, a room that she occupied fewer days in a year than others vacationed.

"Yes?" That single uttered word oozed with sexualty.

"Nablez."

Her nipples immediately hardened, pushing the OD green t-shirt away from those perfectly formed breasts. The tips vibrated with life. Her full, glistening lips formed a hopeful smile.

"Are you sure?"

Hesitation followed.

"I need..."

The sound of gunfire erupted, cutting short the conversation.

Ok, I'm going to try this... ...but the way I work and with life and the fact that I'm already seeing it as a three parter and then that I might want to finish a different story started months ago... ...well, you get the picture.

But I'm using most of the ideas in my first post if anyone doesn't want to overlap. ;)

Relax, Mr. C

I'm ready to take this on, just finishing up a few stories and about to go on vacation, which will hopefully generate ideas.

Lara Croft is about to go virtual on Lit! Yeah!

Of course it does. Every parody I can think of is a parody of a copyrighted song, movie, or something.

No it doesn't, in theory, but the damages they can collect are limited to the business you cost them. If you haven't caused them to lose any money with your copyright infringement, why would they bother to sue you? Maybe to protect their reputation, but you'd need to be making a pretty big impact to make it worth their while, and the worst they could do to you is make you stop it.
