i hope he can stay in the lead.it is going to be a close race till the end.

Hey Hardcore, how about putting all your celeb worship on one thread instead of flooding us with a whole bunch of one-line nonsense threads about people we really couldn't care less about.

What and "other" people aren't guilty of making threads about things that some of "US" don't care about?

Go ahead and make whatever posts make you Happy HARDKOREBJ, others do so what makes you any different?

I'd answer your question but have no clue who the person you are talking about is ... that's what happens when you live on the other side of the world.

he is a cyclist

he is a very good cyclist.i cycling when im not busy.i`ve been on vacation everbody.

Yes folks, HardKoreBJ the poster who loves to make a million threads dedicated to various sexual activities and now different personalities with very little to say is back on the boards.

I wonder how many different threads he could make about cunnilingus. Hey HardKore, please don't take that as a challenge.

*chuckles* How long ago was it that we were promised a 'kinder', 'gentler' lavender?

He could win the Tor De France by seven hours on a childs tricycle while making love to a male chimpanzee and I wouldn't give two craps about cycling.

Lance is a cancer survivor and Tour De France Cyclist that is an inspiration to us

:p

That was funny Ebes, but what Nicole, the sweet welcoming breeze, doesn't realize is that it wasn't even about Lance Armstrong.

It's about a guy who is probably not even legally old enough to be here flooding the boards with WWF threads and Cycling threads and "hey, I'm going to start a family threads".

All I suggested he do is put them all on one thread instead of starting ten different ones that are probably going to get about three responses each.

fair Enough. Mr Yappity Yap brought up Armstrong though so I can use this as a soapbox to express that cancer or no cancer he's doing something I don't give two hoots aboot

Hey EBW, why do feel it necessary to tell us that you dont give two hoots about it?

:p

Why not avoid it altogether?

Unless of course you feel that your feelings about not caring are more valid than all those who are interested in this?

Not every person, issue or discussion posted in a thread will result in everyone being instantaeously compelled to interest in that subject matter.

So does that invalidate that thread?

Geeze you guys, post about what you are interested in and leave those that you arent interested alone to be discussed by others. Why is it so important to express your lack of interest in an idea or thought?

Why must you ( I am using the YOU in general terms EBW), why must you tell others how bored or disinterested you are in a subject as if others will someone say,
"Oh my god, they are right, this is a dumb ass thread"

Unbelieveable.

I HATE agreeing with her, but this is one point that I agree wholeheartedly with.

Even if you have no interest in cycling, Lance Armstrong is an inspiration as a human being. I watched just a bit of the race on TV (last Sunday, I think) and saw the part where he slowed down to wait for his nearest competitor to get back up from a very nasty fall. Lance waited for the guy to get back on his bike and back to front of the race before starting to actually race again himself. He didn't want to win that day by default.

How many of us would take the sportsmanship part of the game and the actual competition itself as being more important than winning?

Hmmm. Interesting POV. I see where you are coming from and to a degree I understand what you're saying. I guess the reason I felt the need to shout out my disinterest in cycling because its been weighing on my mind the last few days and HKBJ brought up the subject of cycling I thought this was an ideal place to rail against those who subject me to Tour De France updates when I'm trying to find out the score in the Blue Jays game.

I know I didn't sum up how I felt well but my dislike of Armstrong is centered around the fact that he's doing something I don't care about, so it isn't all that inspiring.

Oh well.

More peeps should get into cycling! One of the most healthiest sports going!!!!!!

I love cycling!!!! Lance Armstrong suffered from cancer at one stage in his career and look at his success now!!!! If his success doesnt motivate people then i dont know what will!!!!

Lance Armstrong is an amazing man. I am not real into cycling, but he is an inspiration to so many people. There aren't a lot of true heros left, but I think he is one. He is an avid competitor, but shows a level of sportsmanship rarely seen these days.
