Just a huge Hooray for Lakers victory over Sacramento in today's home game...Since i am a b-ball fan and the current champions play in my home town of LOS ANGELES..I would like to know if their are any other Literians who are closely watching the finals...

UGH.. No LAKERS! Sure it is to late for the T-Wolves!!! I guess I am tired of seeing that damned snowplow Shaq run up and down the court like a drunken Rhino. Atleat he figured out the whole free throw thing.

I'm with you Icy! I guess Fly did not watch the game last night because Shaq was so dominant! Myabe if the Twolves had a big man like Shaq they might be able to get past the first round. Sorry Fly but you asked for it.

I was so nervous during the second half that I spent it chatting online with one of my Lit friends while watching with one eye.

I felt it was a great game. I think most of the calls went the Laker's way. I think the Kings will win game 7. I will look forward to watching the game Sunday. I can only thing of a few things that would keep me from watching the NBA finals.

if the officials would call the game the same on both ends. The Kings nearly won in spite of the poor officiating and Shaq. In my mind they have clearly shown they are the better team

How soon you forget. For the first 5 games of the series the Kings shot way more free throws than the Lakers. In Game 5 Shaq only went to the line once. I try not to complain about the officiating since it does tend to even out over time.

Stop griping. The good teams find a way to win. If the Kings are the best they will win Game 7.

We may disagree but did I really deserve the veiled insult? My complaint is not directed at this one game so much as the entire season. Shaq gets a lot of calls that are just plain wrong. As far as the playoffs go I have seen every game and I feel the calls tend to favor the Lakers almost every game. Last night was laughable though. The officiating was horrible. I would find it hard to see that as debateable.

Last nights game more closely resembled a mud wrestling match.

There was little class displayed on that basketball court last night, especially when the officals are mentioned.

Why don't they just cancel next years season and give the trophy to the lakers now, they are going to find a way to give it to them anyway.

The game has really become a classless joke in this new era .

Wow, Icy, it looks like your thread has brought out all the Laker haters! I guess that comes with the territory when you have been successful. The fact is the Lakers shoot far fewer free throws than their competitors. At least Shaq's recent performance at the line seems to have put a stop to the ridiculous Hack-A-Shaq routine.

Just because a Laker fan disagrees with someone about the calls is not an insult and in fact the whole issue is debateable. We each are entitled to our own opinion.

I don't see how any Lakers fan can be talking. The only reason this series didn't end on Tuesday is because the officials weren't paying attention in Game 4. The three pointer that was made at the half NEVER should have counted. He still had the ball in his hands at the buzzer. That is the ONLY reason the Lakers are still in this thing. Otherwise the series would have been over on Tuesday and the Kings would be playing New Jersey.....

Until the Kings actually beat the Lakers in a series - which very well could happen - LA has the bragging rights and the two trophies. I like the Kings but I would hate for Sacramento fans to turn into something like Boston Red Sox fans (pathetic, whining also-rans).

Impossible to tell. If that 3 hadn't counted there's no way of knowing that the Lakers would not have worked even harder and won the game by 10 themselves.

There have been a lot of bad calls in the Series but Kings fans act like they haven't gotten some suspect calls in there favor too...

I watched the game in a sports bar, in Sacramento last night.
1 of only 6 Lakers fans in the place. LMAO... what a wonderful evening. Gotta love those Lakers.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion..and all the responses
on this thread have displayed that. only time can tell who will be
the top dogs whether it be my REIGNING CHAMPS-THE LA LAKERS..or the Queens<icy clears her throat>Kings..i believe that
the Lakers definitely are getting a run for their money, and the kings have been playing highly well..<i had to watch fridays game squinting>lol.. i am still and likely will be a Los Angeles Lakers fan.

Danny Crawford is probably the best ref in the NBA. He showed both teams early that he was not going to call any flops, and that he would call travelling and 3 second violations. That evens it out for everyone. As a result we had a great game with a lot of "no calls" that took into account the frenetic nature of a final game.

System this afternoon... It was rattling our windows and we couldn't even hear people on the phone... Its gonna be LOUD out there....
