There is another string which has proposed a story writing and critique group. I think it is a fine idea, but that group seems to have reached a nice size and is headed for a more structured approach than the "write one page on a theme and get some feedback."

I thought there might be a few of us who would be interested, but less diligent than that, so I am writing to see if anyone is interested.

Personally, I have a hard time getting into the BDSM format or the Spaceballs category, so the laidback group would be open to dropping out of the categories you don't care for and participating in the ones you like or are willing to try for the exercise.

Maybe the theme would be suggested by one of us proposing a first sentence or first paragraph for the theme to start on?

Any interest?

Here is my quote from the other string.

I wasn't thinking full story, because for some of us that's hard to do in a single month, I was thinking just snatches of stories to be critiqued, so the goal would be to write a maximum of one page and get a critique, rather than write a story under public scruntiny.

And on.

Sounds like you have this one pretty well organized, so I will start a second string and see if anyone wants to do it on a more laid back, one page and critique basis.

Nice concept. Thanks.
