It was kind of funny - I a grad student and being evaluated. The "proctor" took over and helped the 24 little buggers who were just staring open-mouthed at me, not having absorbed a single word. Suffice it to say - I did not score highly on my teaching evaluation.

It discussed the flexibility of the English language, linguistic changes, ebonics, and other such topics - the idea hit when I was reading some writings in 'ebonics'.

The paper had two basic themes - no word spelled properly and no word spelled the same way twice, but phonetically they must remain readable.

I would ask to read it, but I fear that my head may explode.

Sounds like it was definitely worthy of an A. I can't imagine the amount of work you had to put into to ensure that no word was spelled the same way twice yet was "readable".

Why don't you try your next story in that style ... see if it makes it past the story vetters.
