Without like, a sizeable amount of effort, this absolutely can be built out into a larger narrative. You can actually consider someone who is trying to be a vigilante, perhaps for vengeance or justice etc, or you can have someone be an actual superhero be bested easily by a villain or agency. After, turn her into exactly the opposite of what she like, wanted to be. So many ways to frame, so many ways to exploit.
