Ladies who love Werewolf erotica. Why?

This is by no means a judgmental question, but a sincere one. Being the proud pervert that I am, I've seen a lot of werewolf-related porn, art and read a story or two about werewolves making love to human women. By digging around a little bit, I've learned that this genre is mostly liked by a female audience. A quick google search of "Werewolf Erotica" leads to a plethora of stories, and 9/10 times it's written by a lady and has a fan base of fervid women who probably pull their fingers from their dripping wet pussies to turn each page.

But what makes it so enticing? Is it the idea of being dominated by a beast? Is it because it treads dangerously close to the taboo of bestiality? I just want to hear your opinions, and why you like it so much. I'm not looking for anyone to justify why they like it or anything, no judgement here.

Okay, I’m not a woman but I have a theory: Werewolves are male. They are the most male of all monsters. They are nice guys, who get hairy and their bodies go crazy and they turn into feral beasts.
It’s a love of the darker, beastly side of us men. A rejection of the beta male and a carnal need for the savage monster that women are inherently attracted to.

I could be wrong, but I’m not. 👍

The idea of a destined partner who is a perfect fit for you and who will protect you at all costs. It is not the darker but better, caring side of men, usually. Using even wild features to protect, not hurt.

Primal kink, too. And depending on the story, there may be the domination part, too. (Usually the main male character is alpha, or at least beta.)

The protecting pack doesn't hurt any... Or that if a human is turned into a werewolf, she will get perfect health, too. No more glasses or chronic illnesses, even weight will settle into the ideal.

In most stories werewolves are NOT feral. Even so that if a widow werewolf goes feral because of sorrow, others will put him/her down.

Notable that Mary Shelley created Frankenstein, so tha' be monsters too.

Tricky question, but as we live in a world where men are generally physically stronger and more aggressive than women, then the werewolf appears an extension of that. So maybe a woman, married, living a humdrum life with a husband who is slowly having his spirit crushed by the commute and the 9to5, kinda misses the crazy young thing she married? It's the same for the man missing the slim chick he fell for. Men keep lusting for younger women, but women have moved on to pets.

I think there's a guilty pleasure in feeling sexy, where the woman can point the figure at the beast and say 'He made me do it' .

Or maybe she just likes someone she can train to 'sit' and 'heel' on command?

I get it…there is an inherent desire to be with a warrior/provider. Men today are not expected to be that anymore.

Like the scene in Bram Stoker's Dracula? (Shows Ol Drac in a werewolf form with Lucy in the lybrenth garden) Pretty horny werewolf.
Nah…he and Lucy weren’t soulmates. Dracula had a definite thrall over women but it was almost a turnoff that he was in love with Mina yet fucked Lucy.

So which “monster” has the more erotic draw for women, a vampire or a werewolf?

Do women find any other monsters appealing? Zombies, mummies, ghouls, etc??

Poltergeists
Demons
Aliens (tentacles)
Other Weres, doesn’t have to be wolves

Interesting.

Now why do I think watching a scary monster movie with you would not be you screaming, covering your eyes with the blankets, and you wearing your favorite comfy clothes? Lol!

Something tells me that the scene would be slightly different. :). Lol

Oh, I’d be scared still. Most horror movies have the monsters trying to kill the main characters, not fuck them.

Not those you listes. They are too monsterlike - weres I can understand, whether in animal or human form.

Other weres. Some aliens, not all. Some demons. Even with vampires it varies greatly, it's not often I find myself able to feel like I could be part of that story. I think it has something to do with vampires tendency to be manipulative.

And even with other weres... Well, werecats tend to not be monogamous, as wolves are. Werecats can be very aromantic.

(And I don't watch, or read, horror. At all, ever.)

Nothing guilty for the me - and weres can't be trained like dogs. And the time I read most werewolf stories I didn't have any kind of partner, ever.

For me it is an extension of being sub and a little. The male taking care of his female. I've gravitated towards the longer stories, and there the werewolf often saves his intended at least once, if not more often.

Werewolf packs are well structured, their society is kind of easy to navigate, everyone having and knowing their place.

The kind of stories where the were is a truly savage being (often solitary too), are less common and tend to be shorter.

Oh and dragons are very similar in that caretaking aspect in some stories... Just more dominating.

I never knew Werecats were aromantic - Lit is so educational.
I'm not moistened by the thought of mummies. One would be too worried about snapping off their dick when things got heated, like an oversized tampon
Zombies? Wouldn't their breath smell? I can smell a pork pie on a man from ten paces, so human tenderloins would be worse.
Incubi would have me scrabbling for my inhaler, which would be a turn off.
No, the werewolf is best: nice glossy coat and long tongue... too dreamy, but... would their dick-bulge mean you'd get hung up for hours? That would be tedious.

Depends on the story, but they tend to be either solitary, only meeting the other gender for breeding (think leopard), or then having a harem (think lion).

Not necessarily for hours, but for some time, usually. He can't escape cuddling!

Well, now I have a new genre of erotica I must explore...

Would a werewolve’s cock knot up? Is that also part of the allure? Wolves knot, dogs as well. All canines I believe but I am not a zoologist.

In many stories this canine feature is included in the wolf form.
