A question to all the ladies:

Do women find wearing satin a turn on? I wonder if they do find it a turn on as men can. I find it very sensual to see women in a satin dress, skirt or other satin item of clothing and imagine what it would be like to feel the satin, the slippery smooth fabric.

But is it just as much a turn on for a woman to wear something made of satin, besides knowing that it turns some men on?

Only in the bedroom. It's very sexy as a negligee or panties, feels so slippy smooth so I do wear it, but day to day it stains easily, crushes, slips around, keeps untucking and all that so too hard to wear as ordinary clothes. That might just be me though.

But it is damn fun and sexy in the bedroom!

Satin has always been my weakness and my wildest turn on since I was in my teens. I bought several over the years for my wife and she won’t wear them. I joked saying “if you won’t wear satin I’m sure there are those out there that will”. She thought I was kidding but this was a hint for her to get my motor running. In any event there is nothing more erotic and tempting than a woman in satin hands down

Thank you for your comment. Just curious: how does it feel on your skin? As a man i can apreciate thefeel of my hands on that material, but how does it feel for you when touched by your SO? Does it feel as slippy/smooth as for him? does it heighten the sensation?

Shame, I feel for you. Agree with your comment, both outdoors and in the bedroom. I had luck and was a teenager in the age that satin was the height of fashion, so a lot of girls at high school wore it at the time: satin slip dress with shirt on top, skirts, blouses...all went into my image data bank and used home to give me "relief"...

Sometimes I wear satin blouse to work, it feels good
Thank you, feels good as in , erotic or just because it fits well? any compliments if you wear it?

by the way, would any lady mind if they got a compliment if they wore satin ?

OK, why? and any special type of clothing? outdoors or only in bedroom? just curious.

Oh dear! Is there ever a question of silk over satin? That is like asking would you prefer a Toyota over a Mercedes! ;)

Seriously though, I have numerous different pieces for both outdoor and intimate. I have several beautiful Cheongsam that I just adore.

Touché, silk is of course much more expensive. But does it FEEL better to you? It is the tactile and visual qualities of satin that make it so appealing to me as a man. But is silk better then, from a woman's perspective? if yes, how so?

Stylish, elegant, lovely! A nice Cheongsam, worn tastefully can be wonderful to behold! Combined with hair done up in a bun, some not too dramatic makeup and some heels, wow! And looking at your name and avatar, quite fitting. ;) would you wear those to work, everyday or only special occasions?

Satin is a weave, not a fiber.

I like the smooth finish of a satin weave, but I prefer silk fiber to polyester fiber.

My ultimate preference is a silk charmeuse.

Oh my! Cheongsam is not work wear! Special occasions only and dont forget the chopsticks in the hair. ;)

Yes, it might be retro and outdated, but it's very sexy looking and sensual.

I don't think that I am a misogynistic dumb ass. But, sometimes your comments sound as if you might be a suffragistic smart ass.

Not really. I simply like soft smooth material on women, if they insist on wearing clothes.
