Yep, the wonderful folks at the IRS are at it again!

What's the problem this time?

Well, apparently there was a rumor a couple years ago that blacks could claim a "reparation credit" which equalled approximately $43,000. Such credit was to make up for the 40 acres and a mule that they didn't get 100 years ago.

This isn't true. There's no such credit.

Nontheless, the IRS issued refunds for many of those credits - to the tune of approximately 30 million dollars. Yep. I said 30 million dollars.

At least a dozen of these refunds were given out to IRS employees. You know, the ones who should know better. The ones who the IRS should at least be able to keep some kind of eye on.

And my friends wonder why I want to abolish the IRS and set up a Federal flat tax structure....

o.0 I heard about the rumor, never heard that it was actually true in some places. 15% flat tax is working great in Russia. I mean, their economy is still awful, but that's a giant improvement from the dark depths of unplumbable despair they were in a while ago.
