Thanks for the kind words, as a "Virgin" here I decided to come in with optimism, which is different than expectations. My optimism is that somewhere out there might be a wonderful lady stuck in the same daily boat ride that I am in, that would like a nice diversion for a few minutes.

I was just reading, and enjoyed, your post about substance. Look at it this way, if you are panning for gold you have to sift through a lot of rocks to eventually find that gold nugget....but when you find that nugget...or she finds you...don't cash it in....save it...and cherish it....because she probably had to sift through a lot of rocks to find what she wanted also....make sense?

There is one piece of advice I can give you, but I cannot say how much good it will do actually. Because the attempt to find the proverbial needle in a haystack is very much like a lottery game. I wrote a post about that once, maybe you'd want to take a look.

My advice: create a profile of yourself, so every time anybody sees a post of yours, she can learn more about you this way. I find a signature post even better, or two like in my case. You can fit a lot more info in, and with your poetic skills, a lady reading it may well fall in love with you already, just by reading it.

In the beginning here, I used what I figured was my best ad as a signature post.

But the real key is attracting the right woman for you to find and read your ad in the first place. And there's no way you can possibly cause that to happen, because that right woman must first decice to come to Lit instead of watching TV.

Nothing you can do about that all, unless perhaps you buy advertising time on TV, for something like this: "Attention (lonely) ladies, Still Cooking's new ad premieres on Lit tonight"
